Complainant Resort Vacation International Inc. (the “Complainant”) has challenged the truthfulness of certain specific statements (each, a “Statement”) posted by Author Anonymous (the “Author”) on the Ripoff Report website at www.ripoffreport.com as Ripoff Report #1408318 (the “Report”). The Complainant denies the allegations. The Author did not provide a response to this matter. Therefore, in accordance with the Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration Rules (the “Rules), the Author waived their right to participate in this Arbitration. By submitting a Report and a Complaint on the Ripoff Report websites, both the Complainant and the Author have agreed to submit the dispute to the Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration Program.
In accordance with the Rules, the Arbitrator was asked to decide whether the challenged Statements were an opinion or a fact. If, and only if, the Statement was determined to be a statement of fact, the Arbitrator was asked to further decided if, by a preponderance of the evidence, to determine if the Statement was true or false. If the statement identified by the Complainant is determined to be an opinion, no determination will be made as to that particular Statement because an opinion cannot be determined to be true nor false.
In this case, the Arbitrator had only the evidence submitted by the Complainant to consider. The evidence submitted included Ripoff Report #1408318, Complainant’s Arbitration Statement, Complainant’s Witness Statements, and supporting documentation.
Each Statement challenged by the Complainant has been considered, together with any Witness Statements and Documents provided by the Complainant for determination of the truth or falsity of the Statement. The Author did not provide a response to the Complaint.
The Arbitrator determined that the certain statements challenged in the Report were false. Therefore, according to the VIP Arbitration Rules, those statements have been redacted.

I was contacted by a telephone marketer by the name of sara whitby who misrepresented herself as being from my timeshare resort. She told me that I had 4 weeks I had no idea about and that she could guarantee they be rented in 72 hours for $7200 if I payed them upfront $1500 or $2500 to rent it out for the next 5 years. I signed a contract with resort vacation international but received a transaction on my credit card from resort travelers international. Looked them up on the BBB and they had an F rating. Clearly they are the same company just changed the name. ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)). Which is not listed on there website. I immediately felt like ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)) and ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)). ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)) who's criminal mugshots can be seen on mugshots.com, have been opening and closing down companies over the past several years in other people's names after they rip off millions of dollars from consumers and then simply change the company name after too many bad complaints. Needless to say my properties never got rented and never received a penny of rental income. If you have been contacted by sara whitby or anyone else from this company please contact ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)) and file a compliant. There is a possible class action law suit that might help you get your money back

On behalf of Resort Vacation International, this complaint is completely fabricated. In direct violation of ripoff terms of services for making false reports. RipOffReport.com can be subpoenaed to release the user information, who made this report, to Resort Vacation International(RVI) as they have done in previous cases. Before I go into details of discrediting the claims in this report we would like to mention Resort Vacation International policy and standards. All phone calls are recorded and stored for quality assurance, complete training of sales reps and customer focused services. We believe every customer should be satisfied with our service one way or another. We will never operate outside the law and never disobey the regulation set forth by Florida Department of Agriculture, who is the issuing licensing agency. Telemarketing is a regulated industry in some states but is a legal means of advertisement for millions of companies across the United States and around the world. Our sales reps will never tell our customers we can rent any property in 72 hours and they will never misrepresent themselves as anyone else other than Resort Vacation International Inc. If in the event they do we will please ask that you contact us at 1-855-443-6080 and ask to speak to a manager because it is against our policy.
That being said this is a personal attack not a complaint on the company. The two named people are not employees, or any member of Resort Vacation International, do not work in our office and seem to be a victim of an attempted defamation. The operation location, members of the corporation and ownership is public record found on SunBiz.org.
Next, there is no reason to believe ((Statement REDACTED as false pursuant to Ripoff Report VIP Arbitration)) "..Such information is protected from public disclosure, in accordance with current law and Department of Justice and FBI policy. This policy preserves the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of individuals involved in the investigation prior to any public charging for violations of the law. It also serves to protect the rights of people not yet charged with a crime." with in regards to this the user could not know who is being investigated and the Report is completely not credible. We apologize to our customers and we are working hard with our legal team to remove this false report and to discover the user who made such a prolific claim so that we can prosecute them to the full extent of the law.
