I rented a dvd through there online site to pickup. I picked it up at the machine and returned the movie the next day before the return time posted. I got double charged according to their customer service agent named "Joy" because I failed to press the online pickup button on the screen and instead pressed the rent a movie button. They are refusing to refund the extra rental fee. "Joy" was rude and combative. Ater being transfered to her supervisor, I was given the same excuse that "its your fault you hit the wrong button and we wont refund your money." Just as rude and uncooperative. I have filed a report with the BBB and hve filed a report with the Illinois Attorney General.

I see from your posting that you are a Redbox employee. Fairly obvious as your rudeness gives it away. This is what you get from redbox rudeness and lies. You agaib screwed me over recently when i decided to give your company another shot. I again reserved a movie online and when i went to pick it up, your machine was down I called Redbox and was told I couldnt get a refund becuase they couldnt access the machine. What a joke! Not only did you take my money then try to say its not their fault they cant refund my credit card. Nice customer service.  Nothing but a bunch of thieves and liars.

Read the "tone" used by the REDBOX employee who responded to this customer! It's rude and extremely unprofessional! In customer service, the customer is ALWAYS right!! The employer should do anything to ensure the customer is satisfied!! So by this reply/rebuttal from this Redbox employee, it's VERY clear they should not be in business! !

It is your fault that you didn't pay attention and follow the instructions for reserving online. Redbox clearly states that you will be charged for a movie that you reserved even if you don't pick it up. At the kiosk, there is also a button that clearly says pick up online reservation. How is the machine suppose to know its you picking up your movie if you don't follow the instructions. Pay attention to details and you can avoid things like this. It is NOT Redbox's fault and they don't owe you anything back! You filed a bogus claim against them for something that was 'your bad'!
