Just to add to the long list of complaints against these guys I thought I'd post this.
My experience is identical: got a call saying my resume was being forwarded, then a call from Susan to schedule a meeting, meeting with Steve Fischer VP, etc. Fischer did the hard sell bit and scheduled me (almost forced me) into a 2nd meeting which I went to. AGAIN the hard sell including him excusing himself so I could make a decision to drop ~$5000 on the spot. He wasn't too happy when I told him that I wanted to think on it. You could see his demenour change on the spot. He dropped lots of small talk to relax me and get me more agreeable to the decision. Lots of encouraging talk about finding me a position etc.
I was suspicous but wanted to have any open mind. The things that made me REALLY suspicous: he's a VP and was wearing a bad, ill-fitting suit; he wanted me to pay up-front; forced me to schedule meetings; and NEVER once offered me his business card, even after 2 meetings.
