Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I recieved a letter from the offices of RPR/OFV. I made the comment to my son that if you tried to pronounce the acronym that it sounds like "rip-off." I called the next day anyway, talked to a girl who was reading from a script, obviously, and she told me all of the wonderful details of the vacation that the company had planned. While she was on the phone, I began surfing the internet. Then she told me that my part of the vacation would cost me $698.00, and transitioned into asking me for my credit card.

I only have a bank card and don't really want to give the numbers out, I said. She got her boss on the phone to sweeten the deal by extending it to 3 years that I had to take the vacation, all that I would have to put down today would be $87.00 and the rest would be billed at 67.89 per month for 9 months, plus I get 3 more mini vacations of my choice. Wow!

I gave him my card number, duh, and the 3 digit number on the back...never do that. Then I read your web site and told him that my husband was angry about me making the transaction and that I wanted to cancel. They said fine.

I immediatly called my bank, transferred all of my money into my savings account, but have to wait a couple of days to see if they try to take me for the $87.00.

I should know better, I recognized the name on the envelope, Dan Lambert. 11 years ago, I had a similar deal, 4 days and 3 nights and a cruise to and from the Bahamas on one of these retired cruise tubs, I mean ships. What they didn't pay for was the airfare, port charges at 98.00 per person. The hotel in Freeport was named the Bahamas Grand, which was a palmeto bug infested, WWI appartment complex converted into rooms for a hotel.

We spent over $2,000.00 on that vacation by the time it was done. Guess who the person was that sold the package to us...you quessed it..Dan Lambert.

I'll be hoping to get my $87.00 back, and I will be switching the bank card. Thank you all for sharing, and saving me from making the same mistake with the same deal, and the same person. Someone needs to put this Dan Lambert out of business, this has been going on way to long, under different company names.
