Complaint Review: Ramada Plaza Resorts - Ft. Lauderdale Florida

I still can't stop thinking about the fact that this company will not let me cancel. Right now I am going through some hard times. I am unemployed, my wife is the only one working and we are barely making ends meet with her check. I can't go back to work yet because I'm in the process of moving. I have tried canceling. I told a represenative that I going through hard times and I am moving. Each represenative I had spoke to seems uncaring about my situation. The money that I'm forced to pay them each month, my wife could use for food or gasoline or bills. Now as it stands I'm paying for trips that I most likely will not be able to use. My wife is most likely going to use her vacation time to move.

From what I gather from speaking with the represenatives at Ramada Resorts they could care less if you use the vacation package or not. Their main concern is selling as many vacation packages as possible so probably they can get more money from comissions. I'm sure Ramada knows they are in trouble. They claim it's my fault for the mess I'm in with Ramada package deal but it is their fault for deceiving comsumers. I think it's wrong What Ramada Plaza Resorts are doing to all these people I read about here at rip off report.

How I got mixed up in the Ramada Plaza Resort package deal is I had recieved something in the mail about how there was spectacular vacation ( a cruise and other bonus trip) I was not really aware of the price of this until I called the number. I believe the amount qouated was $1600 a person. I told them I could not afford to spend that much money. They then offered me four trips for much lesser price.

When I first enrolled for this package deal I thought highly of Ramada . In the past I viewed them as a respectable, classy place but now I see them as deceiving and uncaring. I know alot of people would not be in this mess if they did not have the desire to fullfil the american dream (to travel, see places.) Alot of people decided to take the Ramada offer because I sure they trusted in a place like Ramada. What Ramada has done is to break the trust of the consumers.

I would like to know how the represenatives would feel if the tables were turned and they were in all of our places. I know that having dealt with Ramada Plaza resorts, I will never deal with them again. I just hope that the word get passed around about the wrong doing of this places. Somebody needs to put a stop to Ramada taking advantage of people. I don't care what the present employess or ex employess think of my report. I know lately they have been responding to the complaints. Saying that it's the person's fault and that the person is not telling it like it is. I can't afford a lawyer to sue these people but I am sure going to take advantage of the first ammendment ( the freedom of speech ) I won't stop writing these reports until me and the other people are compensated for the doings of these people at Ramada Plaza Resorts.
