Ramada Plaza Resorts ripoff, dishonest and deceptive advertisement, Where is the Attorney General? Ft. Lauderdale Florida
I have recently read all the rip-off reports regarding Ramada Resorts and feel that I have been deceived by their advertisement. My husband and myself are in our early 70s and were planning on driving the 2500 miles to Ft. Lauderdale, Flordia for this supposedly great vacation; however, after having read all the horror stories on the web, I do not feel that we should subject ourselves to this type of treatment.
I would desperately love to have our money returned to us as we are on fixed incomes and could well use the money. I had called the Better Business Bureau before making any arrangements and was advised that there was not derogatory remarks pending regarding the Ramada Resorts. I cannot understand how these people can continue to con the people and stay in business.
Where is the Attorney General of Florida, the Major of Ft. Lauderdale, and the Department of Business and Proffesional Regulations? They should all be made aware of this type of crime. Hopefully your office will be able to help us with this problem.
We are scheduled to report to Ft. Lauderdale on the l6th of September and needless to say, do not have the heart to try to make this trip. Our happy plans of a nice vacation has been ruined with these terrible stories. However, it is nice to know that your organization is working to right the wrongs and we do appreciate it.
