Our wedding was held here and during the night, my mother's credit card was stolen. We discovered this the following day when Expedia called to inform us that someone attempted to purchase airplane tickets to fly someone from Santa Domingo to Boston. We then discovered numerous cards were stolen, amounting to $1400. When we notified the manager, Ernie Costa, he did nothing other than request we not tell anyone if we are able to find a suspect. We have just recently found out through other sources that the same thing happened last year!

All of the workers were fired because none of them had documents to legally work in the US. We were also advised that this is the seventh occurance within the last five months, however nothing has been done.

We had several additional problems throughout our wedding night. When we signed the contract, the sales rep showed us a bridal suite in the hotel in which I could get ready for the wedding. However, the day of the wedding I was checked into a room in a seperate building so far from the wedding site I had to hire a limo just to bring me from the suite to the main building.

Our photographer and videographer used the first hour we paid them for looking for us. Although they are highly familiar with weddings at Ramada, they have never before seen a bride put into a suite in a seperate building.

Our contract also stated we would be provided with a private cocktail room, which we never were. Our Maitre D' provided NO services. He was seen hanging out with the bartenders most of the night. Noone served us so we didn't even get to eat!

This is a very brief description of everything that went wrong at Ramada. We have tried repeatedly to discuss this matter with the manager but he has avoided us for one month now! We find it only right that we, at the least are reimbursed the money that was stolen from us. We paid $1300 in service charges alone and the servers were too busy servicing themselves to our gifts, they provided no services to us. We also paid $200 for the Maitre D' whom did NOTHING!

i work at the ramada and although i might not have been there for this particular wedding ( i do occasionaly get days off) i highly doubt the photographer had to take an hour to find the bride. If the photographer had a brides last name we can easily look it up in the computer and call the room and send them over. and the buildings are only 100 yards behind the building, while yes it would be hassel to walk from the building in a wedding dress a limo was not a necessity. i do believe we were under renovations at this time as well and although the banquet rep would not have known this when they booked there wedding i can not say why they would not have contacted them on the room change. i also can not speak for the banq. employees either as i do not work in that department, but they were not fired for being illegal (or at least not the whole staff) being as i know that a few of them were natural born americans that were let go. and i also know it is not a practice of the hotel to go and steal gsts credit cards. so please don't hold this incident against the hotel itself. for i as well as many of my coworkers had nothing to do with this situation that was more a banq issue!
