Javier Rodriguez
Javier is based in Southern California and claims to have deals on new and used warehouse racking systems and that he supplies to many of the wholesalers and more professional installers. Basically going with him direct for your project will cut out the middle man and will save you money on any racking project.
He visited our warehouse and we reviewed our project together in person. After throwing a bunch of references at us, we negotiated a little, agreed on a price and terms, shook hands and wired him a deposit so he can start within a few days, which is not uncommon in the industry.
Javier instructed us to send a wire for the funds to his wife, Maria. S. Hernandez, for the initial deposit of $4,000 and that he would do our relatively small project within the next 3-5 days. Fast forward 2 weeks and Javier was nowhere to be seen. Javier said he was unable to secure the racks and if we can't continue to wait we can cancel the job and he will refund us our money. Obviously, at that point, I could not wait and was feeling uncomfortable working with him so I canceled the project and requested our deposit back. He said he would wire the funds back to us and over two months later I have yet to receive the funds and he has gone MIA despite my numerous attempts to reach him. This is the first time I am posting here as I hope it prevents others from making the same mistake.
