I'm not an employee of RAC so do not think that I am biased, but how exactly do you know that this is being practiced by RAC? Who are these techs? I'm very curious. In every case that I'm aware of, RAC buys directly from the manufacturer, meaning it buys all its products brand new. Now, there may be a case where it is purchasing refurbished systems as bargain rates but it would be foolish for them to buy broken down systems knowing they'll fail as they are required by their rental agreement to fix or replace any faulty merchandise. What exactly are the problems you've been having?
