I received a call from someone from Qwest trying to sale me services.  He claimed that by bundling services I could save $18.00 over what I was currently paying (around $70.00).  I reluctantly agreed feeling that something just didn't feel right as I had bare bones service and there was no way a bundle could lower costs.

True to my feelings I saw my next bill go UP by $30.00 and immediately called Qwest telling them the only reason I had agree to the package switch was to save money off my current bill and that since what I was getting was not matching what I was told they had fraud issues to contend with.  The person I talked to say they would change the account back to the old package the next day and the account would be credited for the difference as the change had occurred due to misleading information.

Qwest needs to better control its sales people.  If a customer are not going to save money with a bundle over what they are currently paying don't allow a sales person to make such a claim as all that is going to do is risk trouble with the FCC and FTC.
