Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Imagine selling your company and having a nice little nest egg to retire on. Then you wake up one morning and decide you don't want to retire, you want to do something that will let your retirement grow and have something to leave your kids. So you meet with sweet talking area directors who say, Quiznos is perfect for you. You can have a manager and still bring home about $40,000 a year and the Quiznos people are wonderful to work with. Well, that is until you sign the agreement, and then just try getting someone to call you back.

So, 4 years later, our savings is gone, no college money for our kids, cashed in a life insurance policy, bouncing checks all over town, credit down the tubes, thinking of putting house up for sale, really need to hock jewelry to make store rent payment, haven't been able to visit our kids at college, can't spend time with mom's because we are at the store every waking minute and if we are home we are: filing, fixing payroll, taxes, writing letters, ordering coupons, sewing aprons back together, schedules, or back down cleaning the store after hours so we don't get a default for some piddly a*s thing they found like the tray is left out of the case of $80.00 tomatoes we sliced.

Need I go on. Our 1040 Federal tax, says our income last year was -17,520. Yes, that's a negative. Our store grossed 427,000 and our labor and food was right on. We are just hanging on, and praying everyday that Quiznos will do the right thing and lower the franchise and food costs. Please Quiznos do you know the amount of people you are hurting. These people have gone to the ends of the earth to make your stores run and to make them profitable, but you are taking all the profit. The quiznos will unite and I am praying that they will all do a walkout. What would you be without your stores..the little ones doing under 10,000 a week, the bread and butter of your organization? What would you do???

Hi Yvonne, I can't begin to imagine your frustration when writing the above about Quiznos but am not terribly surprised since this is the same FOOD company who chose what appeared to be a mutilated, wet, rat for their last ad campaign. As a franchise owner, you must have been appalled. There's a new one just opened here in Charlotte that is always empty, even at lunchtime when all surrounding restaurants have cars circling for parking. From what I'm hearing most people still associate the Quiznos name with a dead rat... not too appealing when you're ready for lunch, no matter how good the food is. Sell that franchise ASAP even if it's at a loss. You already have platinum skills necessary for even the worst of times in restaurant management (thanks, Quiznos) and could only do better starting from scratch. God bless and I hope things get better soon.
