Dear Mr. Shaffer, Thank you for your reply. I think you have overlooked the purpose of my letter. I am not trying to get a free meal. I am requesting that Quiznos stops or modifies the highly deceptive "Choose two" promotion. The Quiznos employees themselves state a lot of customers missunderstand (are decieved). Mr. Shaffer, Quiznos is in the Sub business. When you say Choose two , what do you expect your customers to think you are refering to? TWO SUBS. Would you not sell as much product if your sign simply said " Small SUB AND YOUR CHOICE OF A SALAD OR SOUP FOR $5.89? If your answer is no, then your marketing department is intentionally misleading Quiznos customers. When we launched the Choose 2 promotion, we wanted to make sure that we were educating the customer about how the program worked. That's why we went with Step 1, Choose any Small Sub or Craveable Salad and Step 2, Choose any side salad or cup of soup. Our intention was that this would guide customers through the ordering process for Choose 2, so that situations like yours wouldn't arise. It also sounds like the Team Member who took your order either misunderstood your question or misunderstood the program. I can imagine that you were quite surprised when you reached the Cashier. Please accept my apology for your experience. We believe that customer service is at the core of all great businesses, and would never wish to be deceptive in our marketing. I would like to encourage you to return to the Oneonta Quiznos, or one of our other stores. If you'd like to send me a mailing address, I would gladly send you some Quiznos gift certificates so that you can have your next Quiznos meal on me. Sincerely, Steve Shaffer --------
