I thought I would try the QuickPost service provided by Netbank. I have to say I am less than satisfied with Netbank and their Quick Post service.

You are better off spending the money wiring the money into your bank account or having direct deposit, than using this service.

I sent a money order for $60.00, by Quick Post on Wednesday afternoon, 7/27/05, and it was received by Netbank on 7/28/05 at 9:24 a.m; however, I though since it was a money order it would post on that day 7/28/05 and be made available today, 7/29/05. Which is the way every other bank I have ever dealt with in my life has processed a deposit, especially a money order (mailed in or not).

They caused a NSF because I was 2.00 short on a check, my mistake I miscalculated by transposing two numbers in a previous deposit. The customer service rep couldn't believe I was telling the truth, until I gave her the UPS tracking number and subsequent UPS store address. (She had the gall to say under her breath - that's true). She then connected with their Quick Post representatives who are the rudest and they are quick to lay the blame on you. They reversed the NSF fee, but I MADE her explain to me the procedure for Quick Post and it is not the way you think. There is nothing quick about it.

For example, you drop a Quick Post by the last pick up time (example, Monday at 4:00 p.m.), they can get the Quick Post via UPS the next day (Tuesday), your deposit is not posted second day (Wednesday). You should be able to see your deposit in your account online that day.

According to their procedure, sent Quick Post on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., received by Netbank at 9:24 a.m. on Thursday, the funds should be in my account today. Guess what? IT IS NOT. If there wasn't some error on their part, they wouldn't have refunded the NSF fee.

If you use Netbank, use direct deposit, or spend the extra funds to wire it from another bank. DO NOT USE QUICK POST UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT FOR YOUR MONEY.

Fred! You are wrong, just read more complaints about this bank!

Posts about this firm are under both Netbank and Net Bank. I won't go into much detail as one of them from a few years ago is mine, but this bank is terrible. I had 98K with them and due to bad service I wanted to close my account, I had to hire an attorney to get my money back! Just read the complaints about them and you will see that they like to take in money but don't like to part with it.

NetBank provides GREAT SERVICES

NetBank privides great services. I use Quickpost almost daily with no problems. I send my deposit on Monday and on Tuesday evening the deposit is in my account. By the volumes that UPS ships on behalf on NetBank, it looks as though it is an accepted and well-liked service and if you do decide to wire money from another bank, you will be ripped off by them as NetBank has, without a doubt, the LOWEST wire transfer services available.
