Where do I begin? Shopping for the best deal on an extended vehicle warranty brought me to Qteck.com. For approximately $1300 I was able to extend my factory warranty for another 7 years/125,000 miles.

It was a great price through a company that was not only endorsed by the BBB, but was underwritten by Barclay's Insurance/Brokerage/Banking etc - one of the biggies; the fine print even advised policy owners that they were entitled to file a claim directly with Barclays.

After a little research which proved satisfying, I sent the cashier's check in, received my policy by express courier, and one year later needed to file a claim. My truck broke down in a remote National Forest Area. No problem, the company would pay for a tow, rental car, and lodging if necessary.

My phone call to Qteck was met with ".... we're sorry, the number you are trying to reach has been disconnected or is no longer in service..." Avoiding the time-consuming details of how I returned home and got my truck towed to the dealership, I'll skip ahead to the online detective work which uncovered the "thanks for letting me know, you jerk-offs" fact that Qteck had changed their name to Warranty Nation.

They had also changed their phone number. And fax number. But their 24 hour line on the new number had no answer and no message center - no matter what hour you called - and trust me, I set my alarm for 2 & 3 in the morning just to give them a ring. Oh, and did I mention that their NEW fax number was non-functioning????

A complaint alert (initiated by my formal action against them) from my state attorney general lit a fire under their butts; they provided me via email with yet another fax number which both myself and the repair facility attempted many times to use but it mysteriously malfunctioned; 3 days later it was disconnected.

I have re-opened my complaint against them with the A.G.'s office since numerous emails fail to generate a response from these jackasses. Since last week, their website is now "Temporarily Unavailable." I have searched and searched for anyone who has any information on or complaints against this company.

Does anyone have any opinions, suggestions, or knowledge of this butt-boil of a company? Thanks and be forewarned. LadyWolf.

This guy is hiding behind his lawyer in Canada. I know because I have taken legal action against him. People, if you haven't yet, please write to YOUR attorney general. Make sure your complaint lists Warranty Nation AND Qteck. Only then can this guy be dealt with criminally and we may have SOME chance of getting SOME money back. I have TONS of information on him.

I am also a victim of Warranty Nation We do have some recourse to take. You can contact the Attorney General's office in Washington @ 360-738-6185 or go to their webiste at www.wa.gov/ago/consomer/forms/index You can file a formal complaint and either submit it online or mail it to them. They need to have complaints on this company in order to procede with their investigation of Warranty Nation. I filed my complaint today...Good Luck
