What Yelp hides Ripoff Report exposes!

Thanks to Ripoff Report, the scamming history of Purrfect Auto and its "all in the family" owners goes back over a decade and spans several states.

Here was a detailed review that Yelp hid from unsuspecting motorists:

Great phone demeanor from a Purrfect Auto employee!

What…why the one star?

Congrats on many years in business Hirji family!

Again, why only a one star review?

Well, evidence is below – here’s a head’s up outline:

1. De Ja Vue: How I stumbled back into Purrfect Auto

2. Revoked/Dissolved business history

3. Over a decade of court drama featuring the Hirji’s

4. Bankruptcy: A Hirji family affair

5. Years of Yelper reviews giving fair warning

6. What are YOU going to do about it?

Start your engines...but avoid the Hirji (Purrfect Auto/USA Auto Service) sputtering where your dollars go up in smoke:

My updated story starts with a smog check coupon from “USA Auto Service” for “$7.77”

Upon arriving on location all I see is “Purrfect Auto” plastered everywhere…in the exact same space they were back when I stopped in for an oil change in 2012. After an instant flash-back of the hard upselling and ridiculous quote ($$$) for parts/service I didn’t need back in 2012, I was about to leave when I thought “hey, this could be entertaining”…

So, I walk in and ask how long for a smog check since I had to be at work in about 40 minutes…the lady looked at a guy behind the counter who said “Our smog guy isn’t in till 9” (it was about 8:20am)…I go back to my car and witness a tech driving a vehicle into the smog check bay (banner sign says “$9”)…I back up in the parking lot adjacent to this bay for a better view and see tech hooking up smog machine…what the?!?!

Hmm, it appears that since I had limited total time they knew there was NO way they’d get any money out of me on upsells – so they lied about smog not being available to get some other sucker in that bay.

Yep, same old same old from my prior visit back in 2012 according to other recent Yelper smog/oil scam reviews.

Interestingly enough, I called later in the day...

A cheery voice answered “Purrfect Auto!”…I say “This number was on a coupon with “USA Auto Service” on it…the cheery voice said “Yes, that’s our sister company”…I respond “So you have a coupon with only “USA Auto Service” on it with the same address as “Purrfect Auto” yet only Purrfect Auto’s name appears anywhere at your physical site…he says “That’s right.”

Can you say “Red flags going up – everywhere!” Hmm…let that sink in for a minute or two…get the picture yet? LOL.

Then, it took me less than three minutes searching the NV Secretary of State site to find a rash of “Purrfect Auto” and “USA Auto Service” statuses indicating “Permanently Revoked”, “Dissolved” and “Expired”

Worse yet…

Clark County court records show these scam artists on recent court dockets as well as being defendants (sued by State of NV) back in 2006 (included 12 DBAs…one including “Shafik, Hirji

dBA as Purrfect Auto Service”…let that sink in too).

In case you didn’t notice…

“Rahim H” (H = Hirji) has been posting lame responses to ripped-off complaining customers and fake “happy-happy-joy-joy” five-star postings since about 2015. He even changed his picture – looks older but same guy. I say “lame responses” since these rubber-stamp/boilerplate/cut-and-paste type sentences are so obvious in nature even a young teenager could post them.

Did someone say “Bankruptcy…AGAIN?!?”

Yep, check out “shafikhirji.com (as well as local court documents) where there is a virtual avalanche of evidence I discovered someone posted for all to see. The Hirji family has an extensive court record, BKs, and multiple business failures yet they keep rising up from the ashes to pull more money out of unsuspecting victim’s pockets.

Who’s next?

Apparently many more victims since despite all this evidence people STILL throw caution to the wind and let Purrfect Auto/USA Auto Service take control of their pocket books. Hence, my sarcastic “congratulations” to the Hirji family for filling the ever welcoming scam artist role in Clark County.

It only took me another six minutes to skim the Yelp reviews to confirm that not only is this company continuing to bait-and-switch unsuspecting customers with their ultra-low smog and oil change fees, they are continuing to use scare tactics to perform unneeded repairs and even sabotage vehicles in some cases. As I stated before, the first and last time I allowed them to touch my car I got the oil change bait-and-switch hard upsell. I politely said “no thanks” and left before they could steal my hard earned money.

Funny how some things never change.

But don’t take my word for it, read many detailed reviews by other Yelpers.

What Yelp hides Ripoff Report exposes!

Thanks to prior Ripoff Reports, the scamming history of USA Auto Services (aka - Purrfect Auto) and its "all in the family" owners that goes back over a decade and spans several states is now getting fresh attention with this report.

Here was a detailed review that Yelp hid from unsuspecting motorists:

See my original review under "Purrfect Auto" on Ripoff Report.

This company is playing the name shell game. At some of their locations they have the name "Purrfect Auto" plastered everywhere but some coupon and other ads around town only list them as "USA Auto Service" - for the SAME location.

Check it out for yourself, Yelpers and Ripoff Report posters that have reviewed Purrfect Auto have also gone to USA Auto Service not knowing it is the same place - and gotten the SAME crappy upsell tactics from mechanics looking for the quick buck. In many, many cases, victims vehicles leave with worse mechanical/electrical issues than what they showed up with.

Same old same old.

Since this company is attempting to play hide-and-seek with two different names then it's completely fair to post warnings for consumers under both names.

All the juciy details are in the "Purrfect Auto" report.

NOTE:

"Rahim H." posts responses to postings as "Business Customer Service" for BOTH Purrfect Auto and USA Auto Service which, again, in many cases, are the same entity at a single address.

Good grief, what some companies will do in an attempt to hide years and years of 1/2 star reviews from ripped off customers.
