This company has done nothing but screw me over! I have been calling for over six months trying to get a bill sent to me and get the same run around every time I call them. They told me on 8 Oct 2002 that they are not required to send me a bill, it my job to know haw much I am to pay every month and to just pay it!

And I asked them to send me copies of the bill that they said that they had sent me and once again I was told NO! if I want a copy of the bill I should right the company to get copies that they can no give me any copy by asking over the phone. Then to make matters worse I ask for a supervisor and the Mr. Mckenny told me know that he does not work that way and hung up on me!

Then I called back, and we all know that fine computer system that has you put your credit card number in just before you can talk to a human that again asked you for the same information.

Well as soon as I put it in, the computer hangs up on me not once but twice so I know he had me blocked! But I am not that stupid I have his name and I call back and just put all 0000000000000000 in, and the fine computer does not understand that and dumps you out to a human!

Well the game starts all over again and I get the same story the billing is on the 16 and that I did pay but someone did not uncheck a box that holds my billing statements. Now I have heard this for over six months but it is still my credit rating that they are screwing around with!

Well, I being a military man. I have decide that I am going to make it my sole goal for the rest of my career to let every military person and every federal government worker know how badly this company has treated me. I hope that every person I tell tells two more and everyone stops using this company!

I myself took my business to USAA credit card company and told them my story and they said this was not the first time they have heard this about Providian and they would be happy to help me out in transferring my account from Providian to USAA. I love the fact that I protect the freedom of companies like this that can prosper in treating their customer's trash. And just for fun call them and ask for a direct number to a supervisor, then call back and ask the same question a few more times. My count is ten different numbers that really go nowhere!

I HAVE CONTACTED THIS GARBAGE COMPANY 7 TIMES TO TRY AND SETTLE MY ACCOUNT...WHICH THEY DO NOT RESPOND...THEY JUST HAVE SOMEONE CALL (who i canno0t understand, for they are a foreign piece of trash) why dont they want to settle my account??? i am a 78 yr old disabled person on social security and want to settle this account... is this a trash company?????

I go home to sit down and do my bills and spend time with my family. The last thing I want to do is to have to go on line and sit in front of another computer and do a job that someone else should have done in the first place. I have no problems getting any other bill's delivered to me why should I have to go on line and join one more web sight that I have to give up my private information to. And do the job that the fees I pay the credit card Company for should have done to begin with! Try taking the time and reading the BS that I have been going through, and put yourself in my shoes and you might see how much BS they have been feeding me. As of this day, I have gotten ten people so far to close their account with this company. I will not rest till I get some results from them. And no I am not some nut case, I am a customer, and I am a very unhappy customer. I can remember the days when a company did what ever was need to keep their customers happy so that they would recommend their friends an family, I guess those days are long gone and forgotten by this company.

Providian has a great website. All you have to do is sign up(no money or fee required). You can then look at you statements for 12 months back and print them. You can also see your balance, payment information and much more than a paper bill gives. I've been using the pay online and paperless billing feature for 8 months now and never had a problem with late or missing payments. I now pay and get all my credit cards bills online and have never had any problems. Plus you only have to pay them 3 days in advance instead of the 7 to 10 it takes the mail to get there. I hope this is helpfull.
