I went to a car stereo shop & had windows tinted on my truck & a stereo installed in another vehicle I own.

 

I was given financing at the store through Progressive Leasing. The store did not give me a copy of the contract but did give me a store reciept which said for both items I would pay a total of $650.00. The store clerk copied my drivers license which has my correct address on it & took my email address. The clerk told me that Progressive Leasing Basically would email and mail me a copy of my contract. I never received a copy of my contract.

 

Finally I was able to get in touch with a human at Progressive Leasing and she emailed me a copy of my contract and i came to find out that I would not be paying the $650.00 but would be paying a total of $1,192.00. Basically double the quoted amount of $650.00.

 

Additionally the paperwork was written as a lease for window tinting, it is impossible to lease window tinting.

 

Progressive has also been taking $103.00 from my bank account every month which I did not authorize.

 

I know now why they did not give me a copy of the leasing contract.

 

They are acting as a loan shark and i believe these are unfair and illegal business practices and are loan sharking.

The clerk deliberately violated the rules of the store and committed fraud! His name is Roger forest. He is in the black list of employers since 2016. I don't know how he got a job, maybe a fake passport. His passport (((REDACTED))), maybe he was replaced. Don't hire this man!

Just how did they get your account information to be able to withdraw the $103 every month?  As per your own post you only gave them a Drivers License and email address.

You complain that you can't lease window tinting.  Okay so how come you didn't bring that up at the point of sale when the salesman told you that you were going to be with a company called "Progressive Leasing".  It has LEASING in the name.

What have you failed to tell us?
