Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I purchased a photobook from PrinterPix.com on an Amazon Local deal. Their site is a little clunky but I really I had no issues creating my book or using their web site until I actually placed my order.

During the order process you are asked to choose your shipping method. The deal I purchased came with free standard shipping but they offered to Express shipping. Along side the shipping selection was a calendar that showed when the product would be delivered. Since I was ordering this photobook for my wife and our anniversary, I was happy to see the Express shipping option promised delivery on the day before our anniversary (two weeks from order date)... it was $13 and I thought, "A small price to pay to make sure the book arrives in time for the big day." I placed the order with Express shipping.

Two weeks go by without so much as a word from PrinterPix. The day before our anniversary: still nothing (it's supposed to be here by now). The day of our anniversary: I'm eagerly awaiting the package: still nothing... no email explaining it would be late, either. I explain to my wife that I had a special gift but for some reason it didn't show up... fortunately, she's amazing and understands.

The day after our anniversary (2 days after promised delivery), I put in an email to PrinterPix... After a series of emails over the next 3 days I learn they claim up to 14 BUSINESS days, which means they won't be shipping until 6 days after their delivery calendar had promised. I asked for a refund since the only reason I payed more was to get it delivered in time for my anniversary. They refuse and claim they've held up their end of the deal...

Here are some quotes from them:
"What you paid for was to have your order shipped FedEx ground instead of regular mail which will ship faster" - Their website does not mention anything about FedEx and, frankly, nobody cares what method they use. What matters is the fact that they display a calendar that claims to show a changing delivery date when you select different shipping method.
"It can take up to 14 business days to print and ship an order" - This is may very well be buried in the legalese but it is not reflected in the calendar that promises your order will be delivered six days before they actually plan on shipping it.

It's clear to me that PrinterPix is deliberately engaged in misleading their customers into paying more money in exchange for expedited delivery. After attempting to remedy the situation with their customer service department, they made it clear they have no interest in keeping my business... apparently I'm not worth even $13 to them.
