They filed the following to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: D.C. Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: I was once contacted out of the blue by a PFS fellow back in the summer of 1997. Now keeping in mind I was flat broke at the time (just about), I figured I didn't have anything to lose by showing up at this job interview site, which was in "boonieland", relatively speaking. Well, from the get-go, it didn't seem quite right to me, especially after seeing the half-hour propaganda session on how "PFS will be in the right place, at the right time", and how it was "ready to take off" and if you didn't get in now you'd be left out cold. My suspicions were further reinforced when I saw a live feed out of Atlanta or whatever the HQ was, where that Randy Weaver guy was putting on a show and having all these people get up and gush about how they were going to do better than ever, and have more base shops and more this and more that. Seemed WAY too cultlike for me, and I stopped talking to the guy who originally contacted me. I always suspected it was a little too pyramid-like to be true MLM, but I didn't find anything on the web until today. Interesting to find out that others thought the same way I did.

Wow!! More worn-out lies from a PFS agent. There are lots...LOTS...of unethical things that go on which are still legal. PFS happens to be one of them.
And what a hypocritical company! Cash value insurance is evil (but we own a cash value insurance company). Getting out of debt is good (but we refinance your debt at a higher interest rate for a longer period with high costs and penalties). You need a financial plan (but we provided you with a marketing gimmick and not a plan as stated on our website).
Read some other posts. You have a lot to learn.

That's just too bad you feel that way, you missed a great opportunity. If you had issues or questions with their "Whirlwind" presentation then you should have talked to the rep who took THEIR time to invite you.
Remember, you are not OBLIGATED.. it was one portion of your evening... BIG DEAL!!!! Don't slander Primerica because of your opinions, or your suspicions or your sense of smell. We are "weird" We are differnt... but it's sure as heck better than being normal.. Occult? It's called positive a atmosphere. Because that's the work place that we incorporate. You
perhaps need it more than most of us already here. First off it's Citigroup.. not Corp. I can't speak for the Reps that you were introduced with but perhaps they didn't do the best of disclosing our company, especially if you have this outlook on Primerica. We have network marketing properties, yes.. that is the opportunity. What we do for families and individuals is right, is real... take the time to research concepts of the experts out there, not related to PFS, and compare them to
ours. A scam!? ... We are a member of the largest company in the
WORLD!!!!!! I think if there was any hint of Scam.. they'd have shut us down, wouldn't you agree??
Goodnight!
