PRIME TV IS NOW OFFICIALLY OUT OF BUSINESS! THANK GOD. AS AN EMPLOYEE THERE FOR OVER FOUR YEARS, IT FEELS GOOD NOT TO HAVE A JOB TOMORROW. THE OWNERS (DAVE AND ANNETTE HAGEN) TOLD US TO LIE AT ANY COST TO SAVE THE SALE OR PUSH OFF THE CUSTOMER. THE BOTTOM LINE: IT WAS THEFT. WE ARE DONE. IF YOU'RE STILL WANTING MONEY, GOOD LUCK. SEE YA.

Direct Tv is a company that can sell you their equipment, install it, and give you excellent satellite programming for a cheap price. Prime TV is a company that is not related to Direct Tv in any way, shape or form. Prime TV completes installation of direct tv equipment for customers on their own behalf, and then leaves your home, forever. That is all they do, just install dtv equipment just like you, your brother or sister, mother or father, cousin or neighbor can. ANYONE CAN INSTALL DTV EQUIPMENT, AS LONG AS THE INSTALLATION IS BY CODE. Lets pretend there are two completely different businesses that sell electronics. One is called "Circuit City", the other is called "Electrons r us". You go to "Electrons r us", and purchase yourself a surround sound system made by sony, plus installation. (you could buy this same surround sound system made by the same manufacturer at "Circuit City" plus installation also, but YOU DECIDE INSTEAD TO GO WITH "ELECTRONS R US" because they are promising a rebate on the installation.) The installer comes to your home, but is very rude and appears to be drunk. After sloppily installing your surround sound system, he decides to make a few long distance phone calls, and then take a shower at your house. After the shower, he asks you for a towel which you reply "Certainly not!!" Without the pleasure of a towel, he dries off in your curtains, gets dressed from some clothes in your closet, and makes himself a sandwich. After eating the sandwich, he then has you sign his form, and begins to leave your home. On the way out the door however, the installer grabs your favorite gold chain, and bolts to his truck. Driving down the road, the installer screams "Good luck on getting that refund, ha ha!!" You never see him again. Furious, you run to "CIRCUIT CITY", and explain what happened, even describing the drunk man drying off in your curtains. You demand that something be done about this drunkenly man, and the sloppy installation. You demand your refund, and tell the manager what the technician said driving down the road. You notice the confused look on the face of the manager. He continues to stare at you confused, and then mutters the words "what?". Do you know why he is confused?? BECAUSE YOU ARE AT THE WRONG STORE COMPLAINING!! You keep complaining anyway, not admitting that you are wrong. Eventually the manager has to call the police, because you become increasingly belligerant. By the end of the day, you find yourself in a padded room, playing with coloring books, and edible crayons (they have to make them edible, because ...... well you know why ...... you might bite into one!!) If you had just gone to the correct store to complain ( "Electrons r us" for those of you not following along), maybe this would never have happened. In conclusion, I would like to mention that PRIME TV IS TOTALLY SEPERATE FROM DIRECT TV. THEY ARE NOT RELATED WHATSOEVER. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR PRIME TV INSTALLATION OR REBATE, PLEASE TAKE THAT UP WITH ....... UMMMM.......PRIME TV!!! DIRECT TV WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU, EXCEPT THEY DIDN'T SELL YOU THE EQUIPMENT, PROMISE A REFUND, AND DO A SLOPPY INSTALLATION. REMEMBER, KEEP YOUR COMPANIES IN ORDER, OR YOU COULD END UP IN THE PADDED ROOM, MUTTERING "REFUND....REFUND.....REFUND...." :0)

Just to update everyone, the previous complaint noted only 900 BBB complaints for Prime TV. Currently, however, there are over 2100! At least 1200 of these came in the past year. It looks like the company is getting worse NOT better. How many complaints does it take for an attorney general or the FTC to actually do something? This is unbelievable. How can a company like this still operate? It's disgusting.

Primrstar, Direct Tv, really lied to us. we sent in the required inffformation and called them the said I should get my rebate in approximately 2 weeks. 3 weeks passed I still didn't get my 99 dollars rebate check. I ccalled again and the gentleman stated it should be processed by Friday. I waited two more weeks still no rebate. I called on April 10,2003 to be told i would not be getting a rebate. I had two wittinesses on the ccall each time. I think it is time to take action against them. I f there is a complaint filed please let me know, I am talking to an attorney in New York.
