PRIME PERIPHERALS 100 cd spindle $20.00 Rebate ripoff scam *REBUTTALS
I purchased Prime Peripherals 100 pack spindle back in Febuary from Staples.I was supposed to get a $20.00 REBATE.Guess what I NEVE GOT IT.I emailed them and got a letter saying (Dated April 23)"Dear Customer, ..please be advised that currently we are experiencing a delay.
A rebate check is being issued by TCA Rebates.
Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to get each and every rebate request expedited as quickly as possible. However, it will take additional time due to the overwhelming response to many rebate offers in the last several months. We are asking everyone for their continued patience.
We have your information on file now.We will be researching the status of it with TCA Rebates.We hope to have all the rebates resolved shortly.Best regards Julie Jurgilewicz"
I FIRMLY BELIEVE THIS IS A SCAM...I WAS GIVEN THIS NUMBER 914-633-0663 . I CALLED IT AND I WAS TOLD "PRIME PERIPHERALS IS NO LONGER WITH US.CALL THEM AT THIS NUMBER 781-986-3960. I JUST GOT THIS NUMBER A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO. EVERYTIME I TRIED TO CALL IT WAS BUSY.. HAVE YOU NOTICED IN THE NAME PERIPHERALS THAT THE WORD RIP IS THERE.I WONDER IF THATS TRYING TO TELL US SOMETHING. I WILL KEEP ALL POSTED ONCE I GET MORE INFO.TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL.......JOE

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Crystal Krenz Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: I bought a cd from Best Buy in west saint paul, minnesota in december. Inside the wrapped cd case was one of your blank cd's. I was very angry and Best Buy will not return the cd. Can you explain how one of your blank cd's showed up in a Krayzie Bone cd that I bought. I don't have an e-mail address myself but Nancy is a friend and will let me know if you contact her. Thank you for your time

This number is all you have to call 1-877-416-4692 .I called it like I stated above and yes I got my rebate on 8/11/01.After all it only took 6 months of bull.So there you have it.......

HERE IS A NEW NUMBER THAT I JUST CALLED AND I ACTUALLY GOT A LIVE PERSON IN LESS THAN 20 SECONDS.1-877-416-4692 I WAS TOLD THAT A CHECK WILL BE MAILED OUT AND I SHOULD GET IT IN 15 DAYS.WE SHALL SEE...........
