I’m embarrassed to say I was taken in by this scam. On December 4, I went to this site after watching a newscaster talk about how she got a great deal using this site. When you first go in, it tells you that can sign up for a trial and get 100 bids for free. It requires your credit card information to pay for auctions won. Nowhere did it say that I would charged for the bids yet my debit card was hit immediately for $149.75 (I have the email welcoming me and saying it charged my credit card $149.75 for 400 bid points. I immediately emailed back saying that I had not bought any bid points and I better not see that charge in my statement. That same day, I received an email from an Edward Jones saying that I had agreed to purchase the 300 bid pack when I registered. Not so. They advertised 100 free bid points to try out the auction. This is obviously a scam and now that I’ve checked them out online, I see that many other people have been duped by Price Shuffle. Is anything being done to put these people out of business?
