So I was about to get scammed, but I'm smarter than these suckers at Premier Savings. When the rep called me (from a number that comes up as "restricted" on my cell phone (yeah, that's right cell phone), I was first pissed (how did you get thits number, etc) but then interested because, of course, I have lots of debt and bad credit. I asked a bunch of questions, and everything seemed reasonable (despite me being denied by other credit cards). Finally, he mentions the $400 fee and that I wouldn't be giving him the info over the phone. I asked if I could pay with the credit card I'd been "approved" for, and he said no and that if he did that, I'd receive the package and then wouldn't pay for the information and simply run off and get the card myself instead. (He basically just let the cat out of the bag. I was on to him.) I then asked him about a refund, to which he said I can, of course, get one if not satisfied. I can also cancel through my own credit card. I then asked if he could send that to me in writing, and he said he'd have to ask his manager. I told him I was probably interested and that I'd call back later. I didn't really have intentions in paying for this scam; I just wanted to get off the d**n phone. Since then, my phone has rung three times a day from a restricted number--the first time I've ever received calls from such a blocked number--for the last threee days. Next time it rings, I of course will answer and tell him I've scammed him into thinking i was interested. But, for the time being, I'll let him sweat it out. These people are SCUM!!!
