I purchased a Kydex gun holster and a spare magazine holster from Predator. The packaging states in large capitol letters and red print "UNCONDITIONAL LIFETIME WARRANTY" Then in smaller print: "For warranty & product information contact us at: P.O. Box 21932 Mesa, AZ 85277-1932".

After about 60 days of regular wear, the waistband clip on the gun holster split and would not function. I wrote a letter to the above-mentioned address inquiring how to replace the holster. I included several means of contact in my inquiry including a daytime and evening telephone number, a postal address and an e-mail address. I never heard back from them.

After three weeks with no response I took the holster back to the retail store where I bought it and they kindly replaced it free of charge. After approximately the same amount of time, that holster also split in the same place. Again, I took it back to the same retail store. At that point they made the comment that several other customers were returning holsters due to the same defect. They grudgingly replaced the holster.

A couple of months later the magazine holster developed the same type of crack and the clip broke completely off. This time when I took it back to the store where I originally made the purchase, I was told that the item had to be replaced by the manufacturer. In frustration I wrote another letter and returned the magazine holster along with the letter to the same address.

Two months later I have had no reply...

I had a similar experience. I purchased a holster and had it replaced twice by the retailer. The second time I reicieved a credit while they waited on a shipment of holsters from you. They never did arrive. I attempted to contact you via e-mail and telephone. And I can say you are a very hard to get a hold of individual. I will never buy another Predator holster. And I hope your poor managment abilities take effect on your company.

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

my name is devon kerbs. I am the owner of Predator Holsters and would like to comment on the ripoff report filed against my company. First, I would like to appologize to this gentleman for the hassle and lack of response from his retail outlet and Predator Holsters alike. I do my best to make sure each warranty item is shipped out quickly and always free of charge. At the time of this report I was making changes in my company which included letting a major firearms dealer in scottsdale take over my distribution line. I and the company then moved out of state to focus on national distribution. The company in scottsdale was left in charge of all local distribution. As time went on i recieved more and more complaints that business was not being taken care of on their end. I also heard disturbing rumors that they were telling people that I was out of business. When I confronted them about it I learned that their general manager was caught stealing and my name and company had been caught up in it somehow. I assume this is the same retailer that this gentleman is referring to in his report. This company was responsible at that time for replacing warranty items to retail and wholesale customers. I was responsible only for replacing these items to them. As for a package sent directly to my P.O. box....... I cannot be sure that this particular package ever reached it's destination and unless some kind of delivery confirmation was used, either can you. I have manufactured and sent out over twenty thousand holsters since this companies birth and have always replaced holsters with no questions asked and in a timely fashion. I take pride in my work and my customer service and it personally offends me when reports like this are filed without contacting me first. I am listed in multiple directories and I am not hard to reach. I would like to make this situation right. If you have been treated poorly or ignored by anyone associated with Predator Holsters please contact me directly and I will do everything possible to right the situation.
