I ordered this product to stain my fence based upon the information on their five minute fence dot com website.  It was supposed to be as easy as spraying it upon the wood, and they have a lot of pictures that show the before and after results. So after reading and seeing the information on their website, I ordered 3 bottles from them at $39.95 plus free shipping. Well this should have been the first Red flag for me, as when I got the bill on the CC it had an additional $8.00 for shipping, i.e. I was billed for the shipping of the items that were supposed to be free.  So I was going to email them about the issue, however I noticed that the email I received about the order shipment was a "[email protected]" email address, not an actual customer service email to a point of contact.  So I then went back to their website, and searched for an email or phone number to call the company, however, you guessed it, there was no email or phone number to contact them, only a generic submission form to complete if you have some feedback about their product.  

I received the product a few days later, and open the package and followed the instructions of shaking up the bottle, and connecting it to a water hose.  The bottle has two settings, one labeled "H2O" for water only, and the other labeled "Mix" which is supposed to mix the water with the stain in the bottle. The instructions indicate that you are to start with the H2O setting and then turn on the Mix setting, so I followed the instructions, and both sides came out with water only, no matter what side you had the dial.  The bottle then erupted and all of the stain started coming out the top and sides of the bottle on to my grass, which was now all brown instead of green.  So I thought perhaps this was just a bad bottle, and that I would try another one.  Yes, you get another prize as the same thing happened, my grass was brown and my fence as the same unstained color.....  So I called my CC Company to see if I could get some additional information or perhaps they could contact them.  They did have a phone number listed on the CC transaction, which I called, and it quickly when to an answering machine with a message saying if you are calling with a complaint about their product to go to their website! I could not believe it, this means that they were receiving so many complaints that they would not answer their phones.  

I then did a BBB search for them and felt very ill, as their rating is an "F" and they are not a good company to do business with, as they are rip-off artist.  I did manage to open a dispute with my CC Company, but my advice is to run the other way from this company.  If I had only did a BBB search before ordering their product, or simply typed in Five Minute Fence in a Google search I would have seen all of the negative comments and other horror stories from other people who order this product and could not get in contact with the company afterwords.

 

Do not order from these guys, as you will regret it.
