Unfortunately had my wrecked truck towed to Post Oak Collision after an accident on Sunday at 6PM. Wrecker driver said he could not tow my vehicle to my preferred garage because they were closed.

The next day, when I called to have my vehicle released to my preferred shop I was told that I had to sign a release in person.

After driving over there to sign the release at 3:45 PM, I was told that "they were not releasing any more vehicles for the day." That is against the law in Harris County - Per Harris County they must remain open until 6PM to handle transfers.

When my preferred wrecker service tried to pick up the vehicle, they were handed a bill for $550 for the tow and one day storage. Again, against the law. Per Harris County, the max they can charge for a County tow is $145, plus $25 a day for storage. Max bill allowed by law is $170.

I called the manager (Mahmood) at Post Oak Collision and informed him that they were not authorized to perform ANY work on my vehicle, none, zero.

I called Harris County Sheriff's Department to file a complaint - they will be present tomorrow morning for me to take custody of my vehicle.

Beware of the crooks at this joke of a body shop.

Not only should you not trust them with repairing your vehicle, don't let their wrecker drivers anywhere near your vehicle. The carless wrecker driver scratched my left front aluminium alloy wheel.

Stay away from Post Oak Collision Center at all costs.

I have no idea what the supposed owner is talking about.

I completely explained what these criminals do, and I filed complaints with the proper authorities.

Drunk? Um no. Arrested? No. WTF is this guy even talking about?

And by the way, I'm not a she, I'm a he, as in male... Dips*.

Bottom line, these dudes are crooks. Stay away.

Houston,
Texas,
We called the Sherrifs

We called the Sherrif's because customer was refusing to leave. Customer was intoxicated and she was arrested for PI, our wrecker driver kept her from going to jail when she had the accident.

The customer came in to our shop drunk and came with a wrecker driver from Auto Connection who was also at the scene where vehicle was picked up. The wrecker driver from Auto Connection was instigating the customer so she could release the car to them.

The tow truck driver had an argument with one of our wrecker drivers at the time up of picking up vehicle from the scene that's why he was instigating the customer. When customer came in to release vehicle to Auto Connection she was refusing to pay charges due.

Customer and wrecker driver were asked to leave because they were being disrespectful to manager and so we called the Sherrif's department. She was having a nervous breakdown and was yelling. We tried to talk to her but she would not agree to anything or listening but to just what she being told by other wrecker driver.
