Complaint Review: Popular Ford - Brooklyn New York

On December 30, 2006 in the Ford Popular dealership, located at 2533 Coney Island Ave. Brooklyn NY, the sales person Alex, on the following question by me:" If I trade-in my car Lincoln 2000 for Ford Fusion 2007 and finance it, what is going to be the cost of the vehicle?", replied that my payments are going to be $330 per month for the period of 4 years. However for the first 2 months I do not have to make any payments and then, for another 4 months, my payments will be $500. After that I will need to come back to him and he will change my payment to $330 like he promised./I agreed to these conditions, he insured me with Geico and signed all the paperwork given to me. My English reading proficiency is poor.

In 6 months I returned to Ford Popular. Alex told me that I have to pay $1000. I paid $1000 to Ford Popular. Still I continued receiving bills for $500. I came back to FordPopular, but Alex told me that Ihave to wait for another 2-3 months and continue paying $500 and then he will change payments as promised. In reality, the car payments are set up in amount of $500 for the duration of 71 months, which is twice the price ofthe car.

On August 15,2007 my car was broken by someone. I called the police and they made a report. The car was taken to the yard. Geico inspected the car and it was evaluated as a "total loss". Geico paid $17,000 for the car to the bank and bank sent me an additional bill for $6,964.48 for the C8T that does not exist anymore. Please respond to this issue as soon as possible, after I came to Ford Popular I do not have ANY car and still owe $6,964.48 to the bank.

Take this matter seriously. You have to be responsible for this damage caused to me by Ford Popular. On December 10 I am sending all the paperwork to the mass media. On December 15 I will start a strike in front of Ford Popular office on 2533 Coney Island Ave in

Brooklyn.

The nature of complaint

1. Mislead of the customer, ............., who leaves at the address:

I am asking the police of the city of New York and the mangement of the Company Ford Motors, to investigate the case of customer mistreatment with the threat for the life involved.

I have bought the car Ford Fusion on 12.30.2006 at the dealer office: Popillar Ford, 2533 Coney Island Ave. Brooklyn 11230.

I am not a native speaker. I have difficulty in understanding business and legal documentation. This might be a main issue of me considering- misleaded, cheated by dealer office Popular Ford.

I have visited the office of Popular Ford several times asking them to solve their mistake, but they have suggested to me to go to lawyer. I have had official consultation with a lawyer and he pointed to me that I wassupposed to check the contract and all documents related to purchasing of the car at the time of buying a car (Attachment#l, 2pges).

I have decided to make an attempt to solve my problem through direct negotiations with the managers of For Popular, without violation oflegal acts of USA and State of New York.

I have sent a complaint to Popular Ford Dealer Company and sent it by US POST regular mail.

I have sent letters to all dealer offices ofFord Company in New York City, including three letters as a certified mail with delivery confirmation (green card) to Popular Ford.

None of the green cards - confirmation of delivery have returned from Popular Ford .

I have sent copies of my complaint to New York Post, Daily News, My 9 Channel, CW-ll, NY 1 Channel, and News 12 Brooklyn Channel.

I do not have a car Ford Fusion,-bought at Popular Ford dealer company, but owe to the bank $6964.

On December 15th 2007 at 1O.20a.m. I came to the gates of Popular Ford office in casual clothes (black jacket, jeans, and sneakers). I had small bag, tape recorder and a poster 2'*3'.

I have seated in front of the office, prayed and then spent thirty minutes in meditation. I took off black jacket, put on yellow color t-shirt, on which there was a sign "Deahly zone" After some time representatives ofFord Popular Company started coming next to me and asking me what I am doing. I have replied that I am going to sit in the front of the office until the top management of the company will improve their mistake. They have also said thafthey are aware of my case .. The manager of the company Michael Morgan has asked me to leave the place as clients are afraid to come to the office. I have asked the manager to talk to the owner ofFord Popular, but he has not replied.

Sometime later the man approached me saying that he is the owner of the dealer company Popular Ford. I have asked him to show the ill. He showed me the police identification card and suggested to me to leave the place. I have refused.Police car came over. The policeman has asked me if I have a license to listen music on the street, that I do not have a right to stay or to sit at sidewalk next to the office of the company.

I have replied that I have the right to sit, walk on any street of New York as much as I want. He replied that I do not have this right and have warned me that will arrest in case of noncompliance.I have replied by refusal again.They have arrested me and brought me to the police station #61, building next to Popular Ford dealership.I have been locked. I have been said as well that will be freed and will receive a ticket in case I agree to go home.

I have rejected this ad askedinstead the lawyer and a water. Then the man in a police uniform came to me, presented himself as the owner ofFord Popular and again suggested to give me a freedom if I go home.

I again refused and requested a lawyer and water.

5-10 minutes after sergeant, claiming to be the owner of the Popular Ford has visited me, I was unlocked, received a ticket #429 300050-1, did not allow me to put my clothes on, led me to the gates of#61 police station and asked me to come to the court.

On the street I have put back my yellow t-shirt with signature "Deathly zone" and approached the gated of Popular Ford.As soon I have approached the office of Popular Ford, Michael Morgan a manager of the firm, has called the police again.Two police cars arrived 5 minutes later. The same policeman that has been talking to me before again warned me that I have no right to sit or stand in front ofthe company.I have replied that I have the right to walk around; the policeman did not know what to reply.I have been walking 15-20 steps to the one side and the other side in front of the dealership company.Policeman said to the Michael Morgan, that I may walk around as long as I do not stop.Both police cars have left. I continued to walk in front of the office till 3p.m.

Next day, 16th of December 2007 I have come to the office building of Popular Ford around 11a.m.

I had only a piece of thick poster 2'by 3" to sit on it as it was raining.I took a seat in front of Popular Ford and started praying.

Several people have gathered at territory of the firms. One of them started pouring water on me. I have tried to put a black plastic bag on myself, making holes for the head and arms in it in. But the power of water stream was so strong, that I could not manage it. . I was absolutely wet and had to leave the place back to myoId car of 1995 year.

I have changed my clothes to a special yellow colored costume with the signature "Deathly zone and returned back to the firm's gates.5-10 minutes after sergeant, claiming to be the owner of the Popular Ford has visited me, I was unlocked, received a ticket #429300050-1, did not allow me to put my clothes on, led me to the gates of#61 police station and asked me to come to the court.

As soon I have approached the office of Popular Ford, Michael Morgan a manager of the firm, has called the police again.Two police cars arrived 5 minutes later. Unexpectedly, in front of Popular Ford, car #2929 started driving to the sidewalk and almost hit me. I barely managed to escape this car hitting me.

Tall man, approximately 30-35 years old, in a grey color jacket and a hat on his head started shouting at me to leave the place, otherwise he will kill me.

I have asked the man, who is he and why is he shouting at me, adding that Popular Ford has cheated me. Man has replied that he is the guy who protects Popular Ford.

The man with strangely red eyes and tears replied that he is angry at me and continued abusing and threatening me.

I have replied that I am going to the police station#61 to report on him, he shouted at me not to do this.

I have replied that I remember his car number .I went into police station #61. When I have entered this station, there was an elderly woman, old police officer and than the sergeant, who before claimed to represent Popular Ford. There was another woman sitting in the next_room. When I have asked everyone about help, that car was trying to hit me on a sidewalk and the driver has threatened to kill me.

The sergeant # 1531 replied to me to take my belongings; to leave the building and to call 9111.

I have asked sergeant his last name, he replied with the number #1531 and tentatively last name "Alborado", as I have heard it.

On the corerofE8 and avenue V, I called 911 and asked them to give a Russian speaking assistant or interpreter. They immediately gave an interpreter; I have explained what has happened to me. Representatives of911 have asked me to wait until police car arrives. I have been waiting for 30 minutes. Then I made second call to 911 and in poor English again have explained what has happened to me. I received a reply that cars will arrive as soon as possible.

5-10 minutes later a police car has arrived, police man has filed an official record and asked me to wait for the call from detective.I went to the police station #61. The sergeant from police station#61 has asked me to go and have some food or go home. There were several police officers there. I have asked for his name and identity #, he replied #2514.

On 26th of February at 1.05p.m. I have called the Ford Popular office and have asked to connect me to the owner of the company. I was on the line for 22 minutes and 47 seconds. Nobody has transferred me to the owner of the company and I disconnected ..

On February 26th 2008 year around 2.15-2.30p.m. I went to the police station#61 and asked for the copy of the official records that was supposed to be filed by two police officers. They replied that could not find the copy of my official complaint and have suggested me to call them few days later at 718 627 6611.

I am asking the Police Department of the City of New York for the official letter as a reply to my complaint.

I am sending the request to Ford Motor Company to receive an official reply to my customer complaint.
