Complaint Review: Pool Depot And Gobal Sun Pools - Atlanta Georgia

When I bought they talked me into buying a $10,000.00 above ground pool. I was trying to buy the one for $395.00 with a deck included. They said they was out of the deck that come with that pool and I needed the $10,000.00 pool instead because the $395.00 pool seen on their tv advertisement would fall in in 2 years so I would be beet off to buy the highest price one so I bought the $10,000.00 pool.

Summer was about over with before they got it put in. The man they got to put the pool in keep calling putting off when he could put in and sometimes he didn't even call or show up on the day he was supose to put it in. I keep calling the office reporting him and they would talk smart to me saying we put it in when we can. Finally he called and said I will be there in a couple days and for me to buy some sand for $75.00 and he would pay me back when he put it in. So I did.

When he was putting the pool in, he threw garbage out on my land in the weeds also clothes, pool chemicals bottles and ect. I found this right after he left. I asked him for the $75.00 back for the sand I bought because it was suposed to be included in the $10,000.00. He said he didn't have it and he would bring it back later. He also told me to sign the paper that he installed the pool and I was happy. My wife told me not to sign it yet before he pay me for the sand and checked the pool real good. I told her where I from, we trust someone until they do you wrong I though he would bring me my $75.00 and he put the pool in good so I signed the papers he ask me to.

Then when it was time for him to bring my money he never showed or called and I never got my $75.00. So I called pool depots office and they talked smart to me and said I have lost my $75.00. Then it wasn't to long after the pool was in the sand started coming out from underneath it and becoming unlevel and one post on the side is side ways now.

You might is well say its falling apart and it was suppose to be garanteed on the pool it wouldn't fall apart at the price. So I called them up again and told them about the pool falling apart. They told smart to me and said they something to me what might have caused it but it wasn't their problem they took pictures of how they put the pool in and they was covered and they was not responable for my pool falling apart. Also they took 2 loans out so we was making 2 different payments on the pool and one payment was to them.

The payment that was to them thay sold my account to another company because they got tired of me calling them trying to get my $75.00 and them to fix my pool. They also changed their name to gobal sun pools the last time I talked to them. I asked they why they changed their name did they rip off and lie to other people so much that you had to change your name. They said it was none of my business why they changed their name and for me to quit calling them any more about my pool because they just sold my account and they didn't have nothing to do with my account no more.

Also the one they sold my account to added more money to it and I feel pool depot has rip me off and lied to me. I also feel they got away with it to. If I could warn anyone that thinking about buying a pool from them I would because I hate to see anyone go through with what I did. I lost over $10,000.00 and a waste of money. I have nothing to show for my money but garbage. pool depot needs to be stop doing this to people.
