Back in 2000 I wrote a poem and submitted to Poetry.com and they told me it was the greatest ever and they published it in a book. I bought the book for about $60- $75 dollars. I was really proud, being a "Published" author and all. Well, the book was stolen from me and I tried to get another copy of the book and that is when I found out the whole thing was nothing but a scam. I was no author, just some stupid person with a dream that is company crushed. Chances of me every getting another copy is slim to none and I think these people should be prosecuted. Look at all the money they have taken from people like me who REALLY think they can write and find out we were nothing but a bunch of stupid people willing to pay for a dream.

You sir are a victim.Of yourself.I've had 3"poems" published by them and can find them on amazon for12.95 -115 dollars. I'm even on CD(though it's true I can't find that).People say they got ripped off.I never bought my work because I knew it was a vanity publisher. Now I find my work for 13 dollars in a nice had back at no cost to me.They did not use me. I used them. You know at the time it cost 30 dollars to get a single piece copyrighted. Now it's more expensive. They did that for me by publishing with ISBN#.I won't get into whether you are a good "poet" because it's subjective.I will say that if you don't think you are a good artist then chances are you're right.I'm pissed off this place isn't still running after I got out of Prison. All because of a few crybabies.

Yes these poetry companies have ripped me off before also. They have taken millions of dollars from people over the years and are still at it today.
Our government knows these companies are crooked. These poetry companies are like sweep-stake companies, they both feed off lies, deceit, and innocent people's dreams and nothing more. All in the name of the evil greed of money.
