I signed up for a 24 month memebership and they drafted my checking account each month. Two years later I change bank accounts and get a notice that my account is late. My 24 months should be up by now so I call and let them know I want to close my membership with them. I'm advised I need to make my account current and then come in and fill out for to close account. I'm fine with this but then I am told I have to give 60 days notice and must pay for the next two months. -- I am told this is all in the contract!
I tell her my 24 month contract should have expired and she advises me that it RENEWS AUTOMATICALLY!!! This is not good business practice to renew a contract without contacting the client. It may be in the fine print of their contract but not good practice or service. Manager I spoke with was not helpful, all she would say is, "It's in the contract." Do not sign up for their memebership or better yet go somewhere else where they care about their clients.
