It all started in 2003. I wanted to go back to school to make something more outta myself besides a wife and mother. So I started attending school I had my up's and down's with some of the courses. So as time move on my family is growing and also falling into a downward spiral. Then the next thing I know is I had to stop pursuing my degree and take of my family. So we move up toward the present I know I have student loans out here but it takes five years just for me to find a job. Cause the recession was starting so I worked hard as I can to try and work out an solution with the DOE. Then I started getting letters saying I was in default! So I talked with the letter sender's and try to work out a reasonable solution. Now I wish I never got involved with these Vultures. All they want is access to your bank accounts to raid them and turn your world upside down.

I worked at PCR for 2 years. It is actually a good company ma'am. [I myself did not work on DOE at PCR] but I do know when one falls in defult with the original lender, per the prom note you signed to take the loan out, you agreed to a pntly [it differents depending who you took the loan out with] I worked MDHE and the fee for them was 25% of your balance AFTER 90 days of falling in defult. Once your account is transferd to a collection agency you are in either state/federal defult and intrest is aclumated on your balance everyday you are in collections. It is the collectors job at PCR to get in touch with you and [THIS IS WHAT WE WERE TRAINED TO DO] Demand the balance in full. This is tech what is due. If you can not afford that then we offer you SIFs, cant do that? the rehab program.. **9-12 month prog. after 6 months you are POSSABLY able to get you financal aid back. after the prog is compleeted you are able to go back to school and with is 90 days your credit report is fixed. that balance is reduced to 25% [or what ever the lenders fee% is] to i do belive 21.5%
They want bank info because, well you fell in defult. to us collectors you can be trusted by mailing in your payments or calling in your payments. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW FOR US TO TAKE MORE THAN WHAT IS AGREED UPON. All PCRs calls are recorded and if you see they took out morw money than what you agreed to do, provide a bank statement showing they did and you got a law suit. Student loan debt collectos are tring to help not only you but the students what want to go to college as well. IF NO ONE PAID BACK THEIR LOANS NO FUTURE STUDENTS COULD GET AID FOR SCHOOL. THEY WOULD ALL HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET.
