Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Watch carefully as Pinnacle Nissan will bamboozle you with bewildering paperwork. I believe Pinnacle Nissan systematically charges customers for unwanted, undisclosed, and undelivered items, burying them within undecipherable documents or not listing them at all.

In a high-pressure, late-night, used-vehicle sale, Pinnacle Nissan charged me for four such items, totaling $1,614. After many months and letters, Pinnacle Nissan offered to refund me in full for its fraudulent charges in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement. To me, that is an admission of guilt—and a demand to buy my silence so that these fraudulent charges can continue with other customers. I declined to sign in order to preserve my right to publicize this underhanded business practice.

In my case, the items were:

• $325 for “Door edge guards”  - not installed

• $595 for “Window tinting”  - CARFAX shows was done for car’s first owner

• $399 for “Zaktek”  - appears to be obligatory (boldly pre-printed on contract)

• $295 for “Nitrogen kit” - not mentioned or explained.

 $1614 total

Except for a bold line item for Zaktek, none of these items appeared on the contract. I found them later in tiny print called “dealer added accessories” only on an early rough estimate of car payments which I was told to ignore.

After I filed a complaint with the Attorney General, Pinnacle Nissan offered to refund the full $1,614 — but required that I sign an NDA. I refused but offered to sign a release for payment in full.

Pinnacle Nissan owes me $1,614; the company must pay without requiring anything from me. If I want to warn potential customers based upon my experience, I preserve that right and will not “sell” it for $1,614.

This would  be a good class action law suit if only I could find others with the same situation.

Bambi when you bought the car you see any stickers on the car that showed you options

when someone gets excited about going to new car they tend not to read everything.   I personally recently bought a truck from pinnacle Nissan just a couple of weeks ago.   The finance manager was a great guy showing me options of what I could purchase to protect my vehicle from the weather and the environment as far as rocks slapping up on my truck and making chips in the paint he also even talk to me about warranty options he gave me an option as to whether I wanted to choose those items to purchase or not.    I personally have no complaints with pinnacle Nissan at all it sure seems to me like they are trying to do everything they can to meet the customers expectations of purchasing a car.   I definitely would go back again to buy another vehicle I am not a dissatisfied customer at all.

Nobody at pinnacle Nissan will take you into a back room and promise to beat you if you don't buy  any extras for your vehicle.   I personally give them on a scale of 1 to 10     A 10. and I give them that 10  because the way they treated me and they gave me options when it comes to financing.   Some people don't have options when it comes to financing because they have speed bumps in the credit history that the dealership has no control of.   When you go to a place of business you have the option of saying that you do not want to purchase something.   I know people get excited when it comes to buying a new car getting rid of the one that's causing them troubles or getting rid of the one it's got a bucket load of miles on it and it's no longer dependable.

That excitement might get some people to not pay attention to what they're doing or what their purchasing.   I'm sure they did not force you to buy anything extra for your vehicle.   I personally used to sell cars for a living here in the valley and it was a great time.   I sold Nissans,  Toyotas,  fords,  Pontiac GMC.  And used cars.   And I had a great time I very much enjoyed selling Nissan cars and trucks because they were cost-effective fuel-efficient and Maintenance Fridley.    If I was going to sell cars again I would not even hesitate to go to pinnacle Nissan and get a job selling cars there they seem to work with their customers and do what they can to help customers reach their goals but sometimes they cannot always do that just like any other dealership if a customer has speed bumps in the credit history or financial limitations.

many  thumbs up  to pinnacle Nissan.

Addendum stickers

that dealership is owned by a company that bought over 90 dealerships from one individual.  For many years those dealerships that are in that Automotive Group have been placing addendum stickers with extra items added to the vehicle.   I'm sure that I can get somebody in your city to take a picture of those addendum stickers and posted on this website if I really wanted to.

When you looked at the MSRP did you see on the right-hand side a addendum sticker with these extra Adams I did to the vehicle that you Bought ?

Did you ask any questions about this sticker if you seen it?

Did you look at the purchase agreement before you signed it and asked about the extra charges ?

There are some dealerships that do not add these addendum stickers at all because they offer these items in the finance department for you to have an option as to whether you really want them on your vehicle or not.  Some dealerships   Charge you for the items on the addendum sticker but never have install them.   But trust me when a car buyer goes out to buy a new car and they're so excited about getting a new car with no issues and no troubles and cold air conditioning especially in Arizona they tend not to pay attention to what they're doing.

If they're willing to offer you a refund of those charges if you signed a non-disclosure statement what's there to complain about ?   That's what you're complaining about anyways is the money that you want that money back.  Many dealerships wouldn't offer to give you anything back trust me I know what I'm talking about.  If you take my advice and go to the dealership and ask for that refund and sign it nondisclosure that means that you're agreeing not to talk about this anymore and they'll give you that money back you should take them up on that offer it shows that they're willing to work with you.

Clearly, you didn't read my complaint

Dear "Auto dealer fraud Investigator - (USA),"

If you were an actual fraud investigator, you'd have a name.

If you'd actually read my complaint, you wouldn't have written such nonsense.

Not only did I contact the dealer, but they willingly (after much effort on my part) offered to reimburse me for the fraudulent charges. My complaint is that, firstly, these fraudulent charges persist, systematically, by the dealership, with impunity; and secondly, that while offerring to return money stolen from me, Pinnacle Nissan demands an NDA, an agreement that swears me to secrecy. Both of these facts offend me. I've been ripped off and I'll blab about it if I want to. And boy, do I want to!

I have not received my money simply because I refuse to allow Pinnacle Nissan to buy my silence.

By the way, there was no sticker on the car window.

By the way, I asked the delearship "nicely" many times.

Bambi did you look at the dealership MSRP addendum

Bambi did you look at the dealerships MSRP addendum that was probably clearly posted on the car on the right side of the window sticker ? Did you ask any questions about the dealership addendum sticker that was probably placed clearly on the car ? Did you tell them that you did not want those items ?

Sometimes dealerships add extra equipment on a car to help protect the life of the car and protect the cars paint from the extreme heat in Arizona. I know that everyone gets really excited when buying a brand-new car even if it's a used car it's a new car to the cat buye.  That excitement happens to probably 90% of the people that are shopping for a new car when they're signing the contract.

I'm sure that if you drive the car over there and show them this complaint that you posted and ask them in a nice fashion to speak with the sales tower manager and ask them are they willing to work with you regarding these issues.  If you contact the founder of Rip Off Report and tell them that you would like to speak to an automotive advocate I'm sure that he automotive advocate at Rip Off Report would be more than happy to work with you in the dealership to get the issues resolved now if you do this be willing to work with the advocate to help you regarding your issues.

Just contact the editor at Rip Off Report and tell them that you would like to find out if there's a way you could work with an advocate to resolve these issues.  Now if you'll take my advice you will get much further...
