Piece by Peace Property Inspections & Appraisals Darryl Peace Charged me $250 for a $10 mold test kit bought out of a store! Other
Darryl Peace came to my apartment on 8-16-18 to do an inspection for mold. He came 30 minutes late and swabbed one area that had mold. I wondered why he came in with one q-tip and had to get one of mine to do another. He did find the area where there was some black mold. However when I got the report back he couldn't even read it correctly to me. I sent it to my lawyer and he said that the report was useless. He had never seen a real report that looked like that. So I Googled the lab which was Pro Lab and that's when the $10 home test kit popped up. He actually left the part of the kit for the air sample in my kitchen and told me I could throw it away. It was exactly the same kit that comes from Home Depot or Lowes. So now I'm out of $250 for nothing. I spent some of my rent money to pay for this because I thought it would prove that I had been living in an unsafe place. Now I'm stuck here and out $250. I would advise NO ONE to ever use him. I'm also going to call the non profit place that I met him at and inform them of his practices. This is not right and he should not be allowed to do this to anyone anymore!
