Peter Hewlett plumbing Improper tankless Rheem hot water gas heater install Nesconset New York
Had Peter install a Rheem tankless hot water heater. Shortly after install, unit shutdown. Pete cut a pvc line drained water out of exhaust venting. Town inspector requested an acid filter be added.
Pete never returned. Recently, an expert plumbing supervisor noticed that the pitch of the venting is backwards. So I contacted Pete, he stated that unit had passed inspection. Supervisor said reverse pitch could damage heater. Peter is a ripoff and won't come back. Use him at your peril!
