Editor’s Comment Ripoff Report believes in transparency and the more information the better.  In this instance there has been court action regarding this subject Report.  We believe it important to note that not all Court Orders are alike.  Many court orders are absolutely legitimate.  However, sometimes courts enter orders based upon default which typically means that the defendant didn’t show up.  Sometimes a defendant won’t show up because they didn’t even get notice of the case proceedings in the first place and other times defendants may not show up because they don’t necessarily have the knowledge and/or the financial resources to fight.  Still, in other instances, a defendant may simply appear only to stipulate (settle) the case by agreeing to stipulate to a court order because they are being bullied by the plaintiff and whether what they said was true or not, they just want the matter to go away so they can move on with life and make the plaintiff go away.  We are providing you all with the same information so that you may be more informed and, coupled with any additional research you feel is necessary, make your own informed decision regarding the validity of this Report.  As always, we encourage our readers to do their homework and not just rely on one single source for information.  Google, through the Lumen Database, has provided the following document relating to this subject Report:

I have read the other 2 people who have complained about this company and kfir alfia's reply to this. In all actuality The first two people were contracted employees and are not entitled to any wages BUT in my case they are breaking state laws that are punishable up to a 3rd degree felony and fines. They talk about the owners background in criminal mischief and then try to make it out as if these two people broke into some interface to find out that information. Frankly, that is untrue. The public data website was a paid site we used and all of use know and knew his criminal record while we worked there. So, that lie was uncalled for KFIR. I am writting because I find that no other place I have worked for has ever denied my wages. I am not talking about the one week contract training agreement. I am talking about the last week wages. I have not received them and the owner states all wages have been paid. THAT IS CERTAINLY INCORRECT. I was not paid the first week as stated in the contract nor my last week. Do the math, that is 2 weeks I have not been paid. State law requires that I should have been payed on payday and yet I am without my wages because someone in that office-steve does not keep a clean payroll department. I was not fired, I walked out. Reply Kfir, reply anyone who wants to talk about me as a employee. I was not a good employee, I did not like the job, nor the way the company was handled and I walked out. YES, that is horrible and a bad thing to do but that is what I deemed appropriate. This company has no structure or employee advocacy, no HR department, nothing to entitle the employees to their rights. I feel mine are being trampled under. The training which was not paid to me is also illegal. I have researched pretty deep and found out that only contracted employees are able to train and not be paid. I am not contracted since my taxes were taken out. So, since the contract I signed did not state anything on the contrary about taxes or 1-9's I think that this company is in gross violation of the law. Me and a few other people have already filed texas workforce claims and intend to be respected or at least have our wages rightfully paid to us. I found that my age was looked upon as me being unintelligent in this company. I knew from day one this business had a lot of issues. We were never made to fill out employee federal documents. As in, 1-9 and when asked where were these documents we were only then 2 weeks later asked by payroll what we claimed, we never filled out paperwork. Thats illegal, not letting the employee handle their own exemptions. Not only that the first week payroll(steve) gave us a .50 cent addage unto our paycheck. Not a big deal but shows a lack of detail. Frankly, this company is in big danger of violation of many many laws. Employees after our training class were being paid for every week of training but our training class still wasnt. I know this because I asked the only part time hired employee-marla at that time. Adam was more of a baby then a boss, he needs his own personal assistant instead of using his call center csr's to come crawling to his beck and call. This is one reason people do not like this job. Kfir although is relatively a nice guy does not take into account that training is a joke. Training is probably the most hilarious part of maestro. I dare you get hired there and you will see for yourself. Security is great. If you get hired there they will know if you are scratching your ear from 40 feet away in austin. Just ask kfir. Anything is monitored, i am used to this seeing as I have been in numerous other companys like this but they take it to the highest levels. Kfir and steve still look at my personal myspace/yahoo account today seeing as I have IP tracers on all my profiles or accounts. Their Ip's show up on daily basis from little elm-where steve is from and the same ip in austin shows up all the time while I worked there. Really its just myspace, the pictures are pretty but stop looking. I find this a violation when you are on break looking at email for them to look at it as well. Which Im sure they have. Here is the deal, I am already in a process with the owner, rick the manager to receive my wages. I also am filing with the TWC with another ex employee and have spoke to my family lawyer regarding possible action. This is a 3rd degree felony and is punishable in court and fines. If any rebuttal is negative I expect that of these people. I will not deny how much I hated this job at all so fire it back at me. None of you however can deny the law however hard you might write your rebuttal because in the end the law wins. This job was not, and will not be for individuals who want more from life. I made mistakes all the time, sure did. Sadly, if wages were payed on basis of mistakes I would be in the red, since it is based on worked hours you are. Andrea Carrollton, Texas

I have worked at Maestro since June of 08 and do not have any complaints. I value my job and it is exciting to see the growth that has happened since I have been here. Adam and Kfir are great leaders and have started something big here.

The training is not a joke. We definitely have HR. I have NEVER been denied wages and also receive a monthly bonus based on performance.

When I started at Maestro I was living with my parents, and drove an old shanty pick up truck with no radio and a missing window. I now have a nice house, nice things, and a new car. The steady(and hefty) pay checks have allowed me to fix my credit and become more responsible.

Nobody paid me to write this... I just won't let this slander happen against a place that has helped me out so much. This job is awesome and so is everyone here. If you don't agree then that is on you and your negative attitude.

I love my job.

Bryan, I imagine that the Alfia brothers must have compensated you greatly for all the kind words you said about them. Too bad their track record said quite definitively that they are not operating in business within the laws of the State of Texas. The State of Texas agreed with me. I received my pay almost a year later. It was a struggle but it wasn't about the money. It was about standing up to them with the hands of justice steadying me. People who just get a job are very vunerable and are willing to put up with a lot for the sake of being employed. No one should have to work a week and not get paid because someone chooses to ignore the law. If the Alfia brothers were found guilty of not abiding by the Texas Payday Laws regarding non-payment of wages, they could face felony charges. Good honest tough business? Not someone I'd want to do business with.

Andrea I understand fully what you have experienced with Adam Alfia, He is a crook at least 50 people have left due to non-payment Adam has never paid anyone datying back to Europa auto. The IRS and the Federal government are looking into his activities. With any luck neither one of us will ever get paid but maybe he will go to jail. Stealing insurance money from the employee is the lowest of lows. He will reap what he sows. They have no structure and can't be trusted I will assist where I can to close this company down

Although I cannot prove wrong what others have documented I will share my personal story of my involvement with Maestro. I have read all the individual reports regarding Maestro and must say, in over a year of my involvment with Maestro I have not had any negative experiences. Past employees claim to have not recieved their wages wich they are entitled too, and some how Adam and KFIR Alfia seem to take excellent care of everyone associated with the organization to the best of my knowledge, as they have me. So what make my statements credible? I have an office for over a year now, worn almost every hat there is to wear with maestro, and work every day... I have earned little money with the organization but often find the owners, especially Adam, often giving me extra UNEARNED money (bonuses), and helping to keep my head held high. My response to the all of the following complaints and slander towards this organization, is that what you personally experienced is part of the roughest toughest game called "entrepreneurship". People fail, it's very difficult, tension and pressure is high, stress is prevelent like you have never experienced, and money is harder to rightfully earn than you ever expected... If anything Its difficult for the owners to relate and help individuals who think their personal skills are much greater than they actually are, when they both are far superior in intellegence and ambition. Every relationship, employer to employee, father to son, husband to wife is a two way street and takes cooperation and effort from all invovled. Adam and Kfir ARE entrepreneurs, well developed leaders, and mentors to many around the office. The pure and simple act of Adam to help me in my personal and professional life to the extent he has done is a prime example of this. Adam and Kfir both have personally helped me with graduate assignments late in the wee hours AND during office hours with real world application and have even allowed me the opportunity to make money from homework and projects!!! The company is thriving like never before, due to the correct chemistry (the most difficult thing in for any org) and every day excitment resinates with EVERY employee. It's unfortunate to hear the things people have to say regarding this organization when my personal experience has been so insightful and rich.
