I was unfortunately swindle by these criminals also, however, I will not let them get away with it. My situation went pretty much like all of these other complaints say.

I did apply to all their PHONY RESEARCHED lenders and they guaranteed that I would get approved for $30,000 after paying them a $400 fee. After I applied and was denied by all of them except a measley $300 credit limit credit card, I then waited on the denial letters and sent them off to these Scam Artist. Rick Dennison then lied and said that they did not receive it.

From that point on I sent certified mail. They are trying to justify not giving me my refund because they claim that I did not apply for two of the credit cards, but they are liars and scam artist. Bank One is one of the lenders that they gave me and they have been bought and taken over by Chase Bank now. I applied for the loan and the Chase Bank Credit Card on one application and they sent me one denial letter denying me for any credit from their Bank. Nevertheless these phony professionals are still claiming that I still need to apply for the Chase Bank Credit Card.

The last issue that they are trying to use to deny my refund is that they say I didn't apply for the Orchard Bank Credit Card. The lender for this card offer is HSBC and I applied to them for an auto loan prior to paying Personal Credit Services. According to their refund policy rule #3 under the heading of exceptions, it states that customers who have previously applied to a lender prior to paying P.C.S., do not have to apply to this same lender again as long as they show documentation that they were denied previously.

I sent them this documentation and these idiots are still insisting that I have to apply for the credit card. I refuse to apply for it because nothing in their rule #3 states that the customer had to apply for the same type of loan as their referral. Despite the fact that I qualify under their rule #3 they are still denying my refund which means that they have robbed me.

Well enough is enough! I have already filed a complaint with the Michigan Attorney Generals Office and I am awaiting to hear from them. I have already threaten Rick Dennison that I will do whatever it takes to get my refund and now also pursue compensation for the hardship that they have caused me. I'm willing to hire a personal attorney or join in on a Class Action Lawsuit as the complaint posting states that proceeds mine. I would certainly like to join anyone's class action suit to get justice and my money back.

Anyone who has further information and assistance to help me in this litigation I would like to hear from you right away. If your considering trying to get help from these CROOKS, YOU NEED TO THINK AGAIN BECAUSE YOU'RE JUST THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY. BEWARE, DON'T FALL FOR THEIR SCAM!!!

Rick, you are misrepresenting yourself

Rick,

It seems very easy for you to fall back on your published terms of service as your veil of protection, but it isn't going to work.

Your company is a scam and does NOTHING towards helping consumers with less than perfect credit.

As evidence of this, Rick, I forwarded to you today a copy of the E-mail I just received from the NY division of the better business bureau. Maybe you could explain to everyone here why it is that your company chose not to respond to their inquires? Just like this consumer, you ignored my requests for a refund, and used your unrealistic terms of service to force me to apply to lenders who would not even consider me for credit. They advised me NOT to apply, as it would affect my credit rating negatively and they knew they could not approve me. You and your company FORCED me to apply anyway, forcing my credit score lower. The lenders/types that advertise on your site are NOT what you deliver after payment is received, and you are misrepresenting what your company does. You might also remember how long it took you to process my refund? And that you tried to get out of it claiming that I did not follow your terms? And that I also had to incur the costs of registered mail, as you would not deal with me via the phone, E-mai, or any other means? Was it the FBI, Wisconsin Attormeys Office, or NY attorneys office knocking on your door that motivated you? Ever get the feeling that consumers are becoming aware of your tactics and are not going to take it any longer?

It is unfortunate that the FBI has not chosen to investigate you criminally, and yes, they have the information on our dealings together. This is internet, and crossed state lines, and so it falls under the FBI's jurisdiction. I will assist them in any way to get you put out of business, if only they are willing to investigate.

If by chance you are interested in contacting the BBB, the individual that contacted me is Burton Goldstein. Let me know if you need his contact information, I'd be happy to help in any way possible.

Obviously, this customer is disgruntled. Apparently, he feels that we were offering something that we weren't. We refer lenders to clients who are looking to get a personal loan or line of credit. When customers follow our instructions, they either: 1) receive the amount they are looking for 2) receive a portion of what they are looking for 3) receive no approvals (about 5%) If they receive what they are looking for, then they are happy (read our testimonials) and so are we. If they don't get the full amount, then they are entitled to a portion of their fee returned (prorated). If they apply to the lenders and receive no approvals, then they receive a 100% refund. For some reason, this customer thinks that our policy makes us a scam. That is ridiculous. Personal Credit Services Inc. has NEVER refused a legitimate refund to a client who has followed our instructions. Period!

For those of you who have been ripped off by this company there may still be hope for you depending upon how far you're willing to go with these people. This past weekend Personal Credit Services finally refunded my money that should have been refunded in August. This was no easy task getting my refund from them. After sending them 3 mailings (2 costly, certified priority mailings) and making lots of copies of documentation, I finally got what I demanded. Please note that the only reason why I believe that I got my refund is that I threatened to sue them and I did report them to the Attorney General's Office. I think that they wanted to avoid serious legal problems. For everyone's benefit I have copied and pasted my last two corespondences with Rick Dennison who I believe is the owner of their company, so that you can see some of what I had to go through to get my refund. If they won't do right by you and you take them to court, if you need any testimonies of their practices I can vouch for you, as well as any authorities. I am giving them credit for refunding my money finally, so I can't call them criminals anymore, however I do feel that they have unethical business practices. If they have stolen your money however, then you may certainly be justified in calling them criminals. Alright, here are our last two communications: Mr. Dennison: I give you credit and thank you for finally honoring your guarantee. I do however feel that you only honored your guarantee after I threatened you with I fight in court and after I reported your practices to the Attorney General's Office. I don't believe that I was way off base in my email. You said that if I consulted an Attorney he would tell me that I was not guaranteed a loan. Everyone who pays you for your service believes that you are guaranteeing them a loan, otherwise who would waste their money trying your service! I think that your business is very deceptive if your guarantee statement is legally not part of the aggreement that your customer signs. I also feel that you gave me the run around with my first mailing saying that you did not receive it, and after my last mailing to you, you should have refunded my money like you finally did this past weekend. The last thing that I would like to say to you is that you need to change how you do business. You should change the way you advertise promises that you know you cannot deliver to everyone, and also change the amount of money that you charge people for public information that anyone can find in their phone book or internet search. You have no way of being certain that someone will be approved for your referred lenders, so why lie to people and tell them that they will be approved and that it's GUARANTEED? If your going to offer a guarantee, then your customers should not have to fight with you in order to get their refund that you guaranteed. You should really reconsider these practices because there is something wrong with your business when so many customers express that they feel cheated by your so-called service. Unless all you care about is taking money from people by baiting their desperation, then you should reconsider all of these complaints from your customers. This whole experience with your company has been nothing but a headache and a waste of my valuable time and money. I hope you'll do better business in future. Sincerely, Rahman Below is his last email to me which was prior to the one I wrote him above: >From: PCS >To: ---- >Subject: RE: Personal Credit Services >Date: Wed, 12 Sep 2007 15:46:28 -0400 > >Interesting email you sent, however, you are WAY off base. This is the what you agreed to BEFORE making payment: > >"VENUE and LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall Personal Credit Services, Inc., be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the >inability to use, the information furnished to the customer. In no event >shall Personal Credit Services, Inc., be liable to the reader for any or all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence)) or otherwise exceed the amount paid by the customer to Personal Credit. All sales are final. Any disputes shall be in a >court of competent jurisdiction within Suffolk County in the State of New York and will be pursuant to the Laws of the State of New York. This contract does not become valid and binding until payment is received and accepted at our office in New York. > >GUARANTEE:Personal Credit stands 100% behind it's guarantee. You will be approved for up to the amount you request from these lenders collectively or you will receive a prorated refund after documentation of results from each >lender is demonstrated to Personal Credit. No refunds after 90 days. >Personal Credit is not affiliated with the lenders. If you are currently in bankruptcy or your bankruptcy has not been discharged for more than 6 months, you may not be able to apply with the lenders, therefore invalidating any refund possibility. Any attempt to get a refund other than by going through our refund process will be grounds for permanent denial of a refund." > >Do you want to ask the advice of an attorney? Here is what he would tell you: > >1) You were NOT guaranteed a loan >2) You need to apply to EVERY lender and show documentation that you applied and were denied by every lender in order to receive a full refund >3) The "Exceptions" which you are referring to are NOT part of the agreement. They are conditions where our company will be more lenient and understanding. We were trying to be helpful and we understand that clients may have previously applied with the lenders that we refer. In your case, we told you that we referred Orchard Bank credit card. You are supposed to apply with them for a credit card. You did not. You previously applied with >HFC for an auto loan, not a credit card. That's why we told you to apply with them for a credit card. > >We are refunding your fee in the amount of $ 399.00 and $ 1.00. Please allow up to 7 business days for your issuing bank to process the credits. > >Sincerely, > >Rick Dennison >
