Last Oct 2013 bought a new pcm for my car. Long story short it started messing up again before the warranty was up. Called pepboys to replace it and like always when my husband and I would give them my name they could never find me in the system but told me the warranty was good for more than a year. When we called back to see if they could find my name they still couldnt so we spoke to the manager mark and magically he could find my name and couldbt understand why his co workers couldnt. He told us he could not help us bc the warranty was up. But the warranty wasnt up when we first started making calls to get it replaced but magically when you find my name in the system a day or 2 after the warranty time is up now you cant help me and wont help plus told us it was good for more than a year. Whats up with that? Thats not how business is done and sounds like they knew what they were doing the whole time. I really hope this can get resolved bc there is about to be a law suit.

Sorry you feel like i dont have paper work. What makes you think I dont have a file for everything?...tisk tisk should never assume. I was already told by a lawyer that I would win this case. You have no idea who ive talk to or what im doing. You dont go and tell everybody what your doing. You let the lawyers take care of it with a shut mouth. So never assume i dont have paper work.  If it has ONLY been less then a year then why don't YOU have your warranty paperwork? If YOU kept better records this wouldn't have been an issue. Sorry to burst your bubble, but YOU have as much responsibility to take care of paperwork as they do. If you had that paperwork, YOU could have gone down to the shop with it and had it honored that day. BUT!!! Since you did not have the paperwork, YOU have to rely on OTHERS!!! Just because computers have made our lives better doesn't mean that computers have made our lives easier. This is a prime example of that situation. YOU go right ahead and try and file YOUR frivious lawsuit, YOU will be laughed out of court AND have to pay the court costs. Since YOU did not keep good paperwork YOU have no one to blame but yourself. Even the courts will ONLY have your word that YOU made an attempt to redeem the warranty BEFORE it expired. Sorry but you cant collect ANYTHING on a BS story like that. Proof is what is needed, NOT your self entitled attitude. All THAT will get you is tossed out of a business. While Im sure it makes YOU feel better to blast others online, the reality is that no one is perfect, not even YOU. The person helping you at the time probably couldn't find YOUR warranty due to their own system issues. Once they figured out they couldn't find you they probably set about trying to get you found. So when you called back your information had been retrieved from their archives and they were able to assist you. Odds are that the day YOU called was the day YOUR warranty was being pulled out of the system and being cancelled. Kinda hard to retrieve information when someone else is working on it. I give you all of these examples BECAUSE people like yourself cant or wont think past your own petty existence. People like YOU always ASSUME the worst in everyone else while keeping a ego and attitude of superiority. People like YOU refuse to admit responsibility even when its shown to you that YOU had a part to play. For all these reasons the courts wont do anything for you OR against them. You have NO PROOF other then YOUR WORD that you attempted to make contact. YOU have no proof of wrongdoing OTHER then your expired warranty.A Judge will look at your story and then the hard numbers and say too d**n bad, YOU should have moved faster. The CORRECT thing to do since you had a warranty was to get off your a*s and get YOUR vehicle to the place that had your warranty. YOU did not do this YOU instead relied on the phone. IF you had taken the vehicle in, by driving it or having it towed you COULD have redeemed it the same day. YOUR choices have led you down this path. Accept it and MOVE ON!!! Learn from it and make yourself a better person because of it. I find it VERY hard to believe that either you or your husband could be SO DENSE!!!! Its almost intentional the level implied ignorance and irresponsibility on your part.
