On September 20, 2007, my daughter Ashley Fullen and I came into Pep Boys and purchased 4 tires (Futura Lte P205/55R16 BW) for the above referenced vehicle for the total price of $373.34 which should have included the mounting of the tires and balancing.

Several days after that, while driving the vehicle, my daughter experienced the steering wheel shaking after going past 55 mph. This did not occur prior to being serviced at Pep Boys. I called Pep Boys and explained the issue to the technician (I believe his name was Quentin). I was told that I could bring the vehicle back and Pep Boys would take another look at the vehicle. My daughter drives the vehicle and she lives out in Leesburg, Virginia and was unable to return the vehicle to Pep Boys until March 1, 2008.

On March 1, 2008 , she returned the vehicle for an oil change and tire rotation with the balancing included and told the front desk technician about the "shaking of the steering wheel when driving past 55". Pep Boys serviced the vehicle again and again when my daughter got back to Virginia she called me and told me that the car was still doing the same thing with the "shaking of the steering wheel". I called Pep Boys again, and spoke with a technician by the name of Nick and informed them that the problem still existed. He informed me that the balancing was done and if I wanted to I could take the vehicle to a Pep Boys in Virginia to have them check the weight of the tires but assured that they had done the balancing and rotation.

Instead of taking the vehicle back to Pep Boys for a "third" time, on March 8, 2008, my daughter and I took the vehicle to the Nissan dealership in Tyson's' Corner and was told by their technician that "whoever installed the tires did not install them correctly" and that's what was causing the problem. Nissan re-installed the tires and we were charged $96.25.

I am outraged at the unprofessional service that I received from Pep Boys. I was assured by them that the work was done and done correctly. The "unprofessional and incompetent" work performed by your technicians could have caused a serious/fatal accident.

allegedly about a 'serious /fatal' accident, one of the two of you would have made sure the vehicle went back immediately with no b**** excuses. That last line alone throws any xcredibilty you may have had (which wasn't much as you somehow expected something for nothing 6 - SIX MONTHS LATER) out the window. At this point, there is no way to prove your allegations whatsoever.
