Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been unemployed for more than a year and I needed some income right away. When I saw their advertisement in the local JobFinder, I didn't have any suspicion. I called the company and spoke with the representative. She explained that the company would mail you a directory of “well-known” US companies that are in need of assembly-type work at home. The representative assured me that if I am not happy with the book,  I can return the book for a full refund within 60 days without disclosing any other terms.

The cost of the book is $51.95.  I was thinking one must spend money to make money and besides there is a 60-day return policy. Needless to say this turns out to be a waste of my time and my needed money.

After receiving the book and going through each company, I discovered that some companies don't even exist and all of them charge a fee to start a sample kit. Additionally, most of them pay so low even the third world country worker could not make a living off on the payment scale. I called the company and requested an authorization to return the book. The representative told me to read the third page as it stated “We have a very limited return policy... you must enclose a copy of the letter of rejection from the company...” How would I have known without receiving the book! So I returned the book with a letter explaining the exact return policy was not clearly explained to me when I placed the order within 30 days of my order. I spent another $7.37 on postage because I required a return receipt. Today I received the whole package back marking refused. What kind of business practice is that! This is America, I can’t believe it. This Business is not BBB accredited and the rating is “F” How could they have started the business since April of 1986 and have ripped off Americans for all these years? The last complaint was submitted on October 17, 2012. I am sure the majority of the Americans who bought the book and felt got rip-off was too upset to even bother to file a complaint.  The staff who work there should be ashamed of what they do to scam our hard earned money. I am not here to gain my loss, I just don’t want anyone else to get ripped off and hope this latest report can serve as a wake-up call for those who are about to head into a frustrating series of events that could have been prevented by victims’ stories like mine.
