Complaint Review: Peoples Home Equity - KNOXVILLE Tennessee

After getting mines and my mother credit in good standings,we both decided to try and purchase our first home.So after shopping around for real estate agents,we came across Realty Executives Associates and the agent name is Yvonnca Landes.I emailed her office and received an email back from her daugher Adrienne letting me know that she received my message and will give me a call the next day.

Once I did speak with adrinne, I explained to her mines and my mother situation concering our income and wanted to know if our income would be a problem because I didn't want to waste no ones time,adrinne assured me, there would not be a problem and that she her mother had a great team that is so good and can get us into a home and bla bla bla!!!

Adrinne told me that she is sending over the application to get started, so I told her that my mother don't recive that much income and would that be a problem before we get started, she said it would not be a problem.When I did receive the email with the attached application, I notice it wasn't a section for my mother information,I filled out the application and submitted it.

I received an text from her letting me know that she had turned my application over to the mortgage company. I text her back and I asked what about my mother being on the application.She seemed so suprised and said, oh...you want your mother as a co-applicant and I told her yes,that's what I explained to you when we first spoke over the phone.

She said I will email you another application so you can add your mother.After I sent the application back by email, she sent me a email telling me to get ready to go look for some houses and asked me what type of house we are looking for, so I told her and she said that I should be hearing something back from the mortgage.

After not hearing anything back in a day are so, I text adrinne back letting her know I still have not heard anything from no one about the load process. An hour later, I received a call from the office of Peoples Home Equity,asking me if I had a few minutes to talk.I told this lady that I was driving and could I give her a call back in fifteen minutes and she said sure.

When I called her back, she said that,she had a few questions for me and to setup an appointment to come in.She asked us again about our income and how was our credit and the last time I pulled our credit.I told her that we have already worked on our credit and as far as we know that,our credit is in good standings.So I asked her also, did she see any problems concerning our income and she also said NO, that their load officer is so good,that he will get us approved.

She asked me to bring our driver licenses,bank statements for the past two months,income verification and for me to bring a CPA letter showing that I own a business.So I printed out all the forms needed.

Here we go,went to our appointment that I found out were further then we expected.Once we walked into the office, we heard this man talking real LOUD!!! after waiting a few minutes, walks out the loud man who name is "LOREN RIDDICK"

He asked us to come back into his office.This is where it gets crazy. He asked my mother could he call her by her first name and not Miss or Mrs, whiich I thought was very rude. He went on to say his mother worked for bla bla years and his father worked for bal bla years and that he is about "MONEY" and he didn't want to waste our time nor his.After he added up our income, he said he we had two ways we can go with this and one of them were he could find a 50K or other option 80k and if we wanted a much nicer house,I would have to be in business 2 years,I need to take my truck out of my name,my 72 retired,disable mother need to go back to work,he didn't care about our good credit,he wanted to know how much money I had in my bank account and savings.This was the WORST experience ever.DON'T USE THESE GUYS IN-LESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF MONEY.LIKE HE SAID,HE LIKE TO MAKE BIG MONEY!!!
