On May 17 2009 I bought a refurbished emachine notebook from this company I was told I would recieve the computer within five to seven business days. After ten days I called the company and informed them I was going on a vacation and wondered when my item would be shipped out I was told that there was some trouble with the emachines and they were trying to fix them so they would be able to get shipped out as soon as possibile. I paid 268.00 for this including shipping. Approx a week after my phone call the item had arrived which at that time I was still on vacation. When I returned home approx 14 days later. I received my item. After having to install the wireless network connection cause apparently noone from  the company did that and spending several weeks doing this I was able to.



Use the notebook for about one week when the machine started to overheat and shut down it had eventually gotten so bad I was not able to even turn the computer on and found it to be very very hot which could have started a fire in my home, at that point i had no choice but to take it to a computer repair place which took approx one week for the diagnosis. I was told when the computer was opend it was filthy and the prossesor was old and need some heat tape which at that time they did but during this time and having to remove the processor also removed my operating system and since i did not recieve the operating system when recieving this item from the company I had to buy a a restore disk and reinstall the disk and take it back to its original settings.



Also during this time and to this date the internal mouse hasnt worked and have yet to figure out how download the internal mouse from the emachine website so the mouse is still not in working order. During this time i had also noticed the ac adaptor was not the same model as the notebook it was a HP ac adaptor and not a emachine and it was junk also . I have had to repalce the ac adaptor to the proper model number so my notebook would work. Which I recieved approx two weeks ago. After about one week of use the machine started to overheat again and turn off as before and now has burned the procerssor and the chip inside the machine and the computer has now lost important personal information and the screen is black and is no use whatsoever.



After contacting this company about my issues they sent me another computer that was worth a total of 100.00 they offerd me  a nintey day warranty on this computer, when it arrived the battery didnt work nor did the video card when calling them within the firts hour of having the computer they said they would not honor the nintey day warranty. The computer crashed a few days later and they refused to reimburse me only offering me the old computer back that had burned up they also stated to me that when they get these refurbished computers they do not work on them they put them up for sale weather they are in working order or not they never check them before selling them. I have filed a report with the BBB and they willnot respond which as I was told by the BBB they will now have a bad rating with the BBB. I have also filed a complaint with the State attorney Generals office for consumer complaints.
