PayPal ripoff - holding my money hostage ripoff deception ripoff deception Mountain View California
PayPal is stealing money from me. I used their service to send money ($5,000) to a business partner of mine and they were happy to deduct the money from my checking account but they will not release the money to my business partner and will not return the money to me.
They will not explain why they are doing this and will not tell us what needs to happen to release the money. They are not responsive to my and his inquiries regarding this issue and are hiding behind their "user agreement" that has some fuzzy, loose terms that they claim allows them to hold my money and not release it.
Please do not use their service. One of the customer service people we spoke to said that they restrict thousands of accounts every day (this is their term for holding your money hostage).
They claim that they have the right to hold the money for up to 180 days. 6 months!!!! These guys are theives plain and simple. I have filed a class action suit against them for damages to me and others. If you have experienced similar problems with this company, please contact me at [email protected].
