Complaint Review: Patent & Trademark Institute "PTI" There Is Hope If You've Been Scammed! - Garden City New York

Well my story started when I arrived back from my first combat deployment in Iraq(Army) Sept.11 2006. Iam a E-4 in the army and had a good idea so I thought, after talking to all of my buddies/ co-workers decided that the idea was something worth trying to invent or sell to a company. I started searching around Nashville,tn about 65 miles from Ft.Campbell,KY nothing so the internet was a good solution to my problem and what do you know "PTI" showed up, well they were the first to contact me back out of the five I emailed my idea too. I have to admit after talking to them and hearing them just shower me with compliments of how good my idea was and about how unique it was, I was sold and thought that I had found the right people that would make me millions, RIGHT? If only we could turn back the hand of time so I could slap that cell phone out of my hand when they fist called, I would still have the 32,000.00 that they scammed out of me like taking candy from a baby. At first they called me everyday, sometimes twice a day for the first two/three months. Always very friendly, seemed very pround of the military and what we're doing in iraq, always talked professional. They feeled my head for of ideas about how my idea would hit the market Jan.12 2007 in Madrid,Spain and that would be the beginning of all the great offers from companies wanting to sign me and then after they develope my idea into a products how I could get out of the army and sit back and wait for the royalitie check come in. That how they got the last check of 27,995.00 Jan.8th 2007 out of me for China/american full patent for global protection and how that would help a companies choose to buy my idea faster b/c of the global protection that they would have on the idea. Well after talking to the lawyers that are apointed receivership over "PTI" funds they said that PTI might be in valiation for receiving that money from me b/c they were already under order not to receive any more funds from customers, so if you sent them money in Jan. of 2007 please call and let them know that b/c it will just make them get in that more of that well deserved trouble that there in, the lawyers contact info. can be found at www.inventorshelpline.com.

Today I contact a lawyer about sueing to try and recover my lost funds from "PTI" but thats not possible right now b/c the "FTC" apointed a law office receivership to find and return lost funds to all of that were scammed but that is after there payed. Ms. dolan advised that we could get together and form a class action suite, which if your interested leave some contact info. b/c that my goal and Iam working on it b/c there is no way in heck Iam going to wait around for these lawyers that are apointed receivership charge what they want and take millions of our lost funds, where does leave use that were scammed a possible 30-40% return of individual lost funds, that a bunch of bull. I busted my a*s and had to be shot at/blown up and see people die that I knew for that money. I love america and would die protecting it but it saddens me that these guys are still out there probably living large on my exspense. My lawyer is contacting back tomorrow about wether or not her law office is willing to accept the challenge of a class action suite, if not then there is five other law offices that I will offer them the idea of trying to help us, I full year has passed since I've sent them the last of my money and ever since have been struggling to get by now I have a baby boy due April 12th of 2008 and don't know what else to due but try to get my money back b/c Iam already barely living pay check to pay check.

My lawyer contacted the receivership and sent them all of my receipts and where my money was sent too, my bank helped me out by researching when and where the offical bank check money went to and whom cashed it, which my lawyer sent them that too. I also sent them the receipts for the charge to my visa debit card which was 1333.00 so they have that too, maybe that will help them track down my money and I would advise anyone who reads this to do the same b/c the faster they can find the money the faster we will get it back but doing the class action would get more of our money faster.

The "PTI" people that was my consultant went by "doug michaels" what a jerk low life piece of junk of a person to take a job that rips of hard working americans. On all of the paper they sent me on the bottom is a authorized pti signature spot sign by "gil vogel" never talked to him but think of him just the same.

Anyone that has any paperwork should read the back of the "inventor assessment agreement form and read number seven that should piss you off. Number 8 says contact the american arbitration association(AAA) within 6 months after paying "pti" in the county of Nassau,New york state to make a claim but they haven't ever replied to me. I also tried to contact there international patent advisors (IPA) but they didn't reply to me either but you could try and see if "PTI" even paid them.

Well, I keep everyone updated on any new info. my lawyer gives me, thanks for taking the time to read another sad money lost story.
