Palmetto Marketing Inc. Tried to Ripoff my Wife for $50.00 Thanks Ripoff Report Coral Springs Florida
My Wife told me last night that she had ordered a subscription form a Door-to-Door sales person (Anderew Westbey). She had been looking for this magazine and could not find it on shelves anywhere (Diabetic Cooking) so was pleased that he had it in his list. She ordered to the tune of $39.90 plus a $10.00 "handeling fee".
I told her that this was a scam. She did not belive me. We did a web search and the VERY FIRST hit on Google was this web site.
I found the Phone and Fax numbers for this company at the NFSA web site (http://nfsa.com/directory.htm). I called them this morning and demanded that the transaction be cancelled, they requested that I fax BOTH sides of the recipt to them and that it would be cancelled.
After reading the reports here, I think I may want to go and put a stop payment on the check as well. I would not surprise me to find out that they cash the check anyway.
I would just like to say Thank You to Rip Off Report for helping track these @#$% heads down so I could avoid being ripped off.
