Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I put my horse in this barn and specifically told her that I wanted him to gain weight, and how much I wanted him fed per day.  She disregarded my instructions (several times) and fed him less than half what a horse his size should be fed.  He dropped 100 pounds in the short time I was there.  He also acted up because he was always hungry!  She didn't like my instructions on how I wanted my horse fed, so she wouldn't do it, but she'd tell me that she was and misrepresent how much she was giving him when I tried to investigate why he was dropping weight.  She didn't want to give him 'too much' water because he 'peed too much'.  I'd like to see a horse that doesn't pee!

The facilities themselves are also dangerous.  The banister isn't attached to the staircase so it fell off at one point.  Gates have fallen on people.  There have been injuries to people and horses.  Horses will kick the stalls, the boards will break and it just sits that way without her repairing the stalls.

She doesn't remove the manure from the barn, she scatters it everywhere-- in the arena, along the walls, even in the barn itself where it stays for ages!  It's horrible, dirty, messy, and unhealthy!

The barn owner, Janeen, is also extremely rude.  She snaps for no reason and is extremely moody.  Her moodiness translates to the type of care your horse receives that day.  She'll also dictate what you can and should or shouldn't do with your horse.  She advertises trails, but then hates it when anyone tries to leave the barn to go riding.  On the trail she'll tell you the pace you should go and how you should ride, when she isn't even a very good rider herself.

Avoid this barn if you love your horse.  Every horse in there that she feeds loses weight FAST.  Boarders come in, but then leave in a hurry.  She's risking a colic playing around with the feed and water of horses the way she is.
