This company is horrible!  They made me go through a huge amount of stress and almost cost me my biggest client.  Stay away from them, trust me, I am a Web expert for over 10 years.

Top 10 reasons why pagely is horrible

1) All requests for support are ultimately met with "it's a problem in your code", or "it's one of your plugins".  And either way, they will not help fix the issue.

2)  They don't provide phone support.  Probably because of #1.

3) They update things that drastically affect the site without notifying anyone.  And when I complained about it, they replied that I should have been looking at their blog.  They changed the cdn server and never told us.

4) You cannot rank on their hosting, because they have a configuration issue with the way they server pages.  If you don't believe me, run your pagely site on gtmetrix, pingdom, and other tools; you will see.  When I brought this to them, they said I should focus on optimizing my code and that their server is configured fine with no issues.

5) They are super expensive and over-priced!  Over $900 per month to do what Godaddy hosting can do for you for $500 (or less) per year!  And Godaddy can do even better, much better!

6) They don't care about your business, they rather have huge businesses using them, I guess.  I asked that my account be cancelled, and they didn't even ask not one question, just shut off the account and goodbye.  No "Why do you want to cancel?", not one question or request to stay.

7) They don't expire headers off of their server, and then say it is not an issue and that one should more focus on coding issues.

8) They make everything overly complex!  I wanted to attach a screenshot to a support ticket, and / or receive a copy of my own server log files via email, and they asked me to log into their support forum to do that.  And then my login to the support forum never worked, even when I had the password written down.

9) They throttle download of your backup files and ftp.  Every time I tried to download my site to move it off their hosting, they throttled me, when I approached them about it, they denied it.  I have a super fast internet connection in the office, and top notch ftp program, there is no way it was crashing every time I tried to download my site off of their servers for no apparent reason.

10) They remove, throttle, or restrict all useful plugins.  Things like database optimizers, virus and malware scanners, etc.  all useful and necessary plugins, they don't allow.  This is unacceptable for a company that needs these plugins in order to grow and do their day to day business.
