After shopping for a marketing company that would offer a ready to go service for loan officer I found this company which I thought was the perfect match for my needs. A representative called me after my initial online request for more information. Representative said all kind of wonderful things about the company and their services. I was not sure about signing, but he said I could pay for 6 months of service and that if I changed my mind I could get all my money back and that there was not risk. He also said they would do couple test before sending any mass media and that that would take sometime to put together, but that there was not rush and that I could try the service and if it did not work I could just get a full refund. NO RISK AT ALL. After a few weeks I decided I was not ready and placed the account on hold thinking that I could just do this based on my initial conversation with the sales rep. Well, I got an email from Heather the account manager who said that we needed to get things going right away. Than, I decided I just was not ready and to request account cancellation and full refund. But, I was told that there was not full refund coming my way and that since I canceled two months into I will only get partial refund. I told Heather what was said to me on the phone, but she emailed me a copy of an account agreement and said that I will not get my refund period.

This company uses deceptive business practices to have people sign up by promising full refund on what they know is not true. I will stay away from these types of companies.

On September 21, 2013 I purchased a series of professional coaching sessions from James Cox a self-proclaimed business and personal coach. The agreement was to do 8 sessions at $75.00 or few for $125.00. After our first couple of session I was able to determine that Mr. Cox does not have the training needed to help with any professional coaching. Mr. Cox was disrespectful and demining towards me during our short conversations. I talked to Mr. Cox and explained that I did not think his coaching was professional or meet my professional goals and needs. After couple of sessions I canceled and requested to have the remaining funds refunded to me due to cancelation. Mr. Cox refused to refund my funds after several emails to him and continues to refuse the refund. After a little research I found out that Mr. Cox does not have a license to operate a business or to act as a professional coach under the State of Washington and/or the Professional Coach Association in the Country. At this point I even doubt Mr. Cox holds any education or higher degrees as he proclaims to have and doubt he pays sales taxes or any other taxes or sales he had made under The Empowerment Group, The MOVVE or any other business name that he uses to defraud people in the area.  I have completed a complaint with the Washington State Attorneys office due to the fact that this person does not have a business license to operate in the State of Washington in hope to protect the community from unscrupulous people like Mr. Cox.
