How much better would we be if we allowed Rip-off Reports to be removed. What about the next consumer that wants to see how this company does business? If we take away your Rip-off Report, there will be even more victims.

Just because a company has Rip-off Reports on them, does not mean a consumer should not do business with them. The Rip-off Reports give consumers the information they need when dealing with the reported company in the future.

1... For instance, we know not to order in hot weather.
2... Properly insure the shipment, which it automatically is with UPS and others.
3... Get a written guarantee from this company.

There are many other benefits to our readers and consumer reporters.

The business has no recourse against you for not being able to remove the Rip-off report. They obviously read the Rip-off Report and knew for themselves. You told the Truth.

The result is that www.OldTimeCandy.com settled this matter by refunding my payment. Thank you so much for your help!

After ordering chocolate candy from www.OldTimeCandy.com; I received a plain plastic baggy filled with melted candy in and outside of each individual wrapper. The candy was not in a box, nor was each individual piece separated. It is a mess! I called the company; but they did not retrun my phone call. Then I emailed the company only to get the response that:

"There will be no refund".

They used the reasoning that chocolate candy should not be ordered in hot weather; as found on their "FAQ" part of the website. It took an hour to go through the website just to order; because if you wanted to change anything about the order; you had to reload each page. I did not read any "FAQ" page. Shipping candy is Their business and I would expect them to employ professional practices.

They refuse to refund my money and I am stuck with a bag of sloppy mush. Do not buy candy from www.OldTimeCandy.com.

The owner contacted me saying he would refund my money if I would remove my complaint. I told him I would remove it once I received my refund. Then I got an email saying a refund was coming. ...I am waiting.
