Lovely employees. Lovely store. The gentleman who helped me out buying a computer the other day was an absolute love. The manager, Cindi I believe is her name, is a complete B word though, and seems to treat her employees like garbage. I visit the store once or twice a week and have heard her berate associates on more than one occasion.
Just the other day I overheard her snapping at an employee in her office over something that sounded extremely trivial. (I'd rather not say what it was to protect that employee.) I feel so sorry for them.
How people like that make management, let alone keep it, I'll never know.
Sadly, because of this totally disrespectful behavior that this particular manager has around "her" employees, I will not be coming back any time soon.

I know her name because I frequent the store. They all have nametags. All I had to do was a simple Google search to find out what her full name was.
No I do not "have some ears". Her office is directly next to the checkouts.
Again, I do not wish to go into detail on what the matter was, but it was about numbers being different from a time before.
I do have family members that work in OfficeMax, one quite near the same store actually. I asked about procedures and about the issue in question. The issue that was (loudly) being discussed was in fact perfectly fine.

It is very obvious that you are not just some random customer.
You amazingly know the first and last name of this manger..then go into the "well I believe that is her name". You are somehow able to hear very clearly her "berating" employees on numerous occasions, even when she is talking to them in the back office. If you are a real customer you must have some ears.
It would be really interesting what "trival" matter you were being yelled at for that caused you to complain about your manager. And yes you can do it because you didn't give any specific dates or the specific employee(after all you could still play on the it wasn't you). If she really does berate them as much as you say she probably has done this another dozen or so times and may not even remember this "trival" incident.
Oh and on the very off chance you are a real customer...you are a very nosy customer. So since when did you familarize yourself with Office Max proceedures? After all what may seem "trival" to you may be very serious if you actually knew the whole picture.
No I do not work for Office Max.
