Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Me and my husband went to a travel presentation. We did not purchase anything, but we were issue a cerificate for a free 3,4,5,or 7 night cruise.  a cerificate for 2 night hotel accomodation, 2 round-trip air line tickets and $100.00 dining gift card.  On both "Terms and conditions" they (Odyssey travel)requested a deposit of $99.00 per person and a non-refundable $75.00 activation fee, Fun Times Travel requested $99.00 per person deposit, and $49.00 per participant non-refundable reservation fee. in a form of Money orders or Cashier's Check.  I sent a total of 4 Cashier's Check, one for $98.00, another one for $296.00 to Odyssey travel and, one for $98.00 and another one for $273.00 to Fun Times Travel. There was a time frame to sent these money, witch I sent withing the time frame.

They sent us a "Dear passengers" and a "Dear Traveling friends" letters, and registration forms, with terms and conditions, (basecally the same conditions). this was about the middle of 2016. On the registration forms there were no dates for 2017, I called the office at 973-250-2015 talked to Jerry, requested a form with 2017 dates, she told me that the forms were not available and that she was going to send them to me as soon as they were available, I received the forms in the beginning of 2017, as soon as I received the forms I sent them back with our request along with a change of address, we waited for ever for someone to contact us, but no one called. I don't remember exactly when I started calling about our requests, leaving messages and the time went by finally Jerry returned my calls and told me that the peorson in charge of reservations was out of the office, and that the time on our request had expired, but not to worry that she was going to make a note and that we could still continue with our request, and that someone would call me back, I waited until 8/2/17 and called 973-250-2015, left a message to return my call, no body called back.

I called the same phone number again on Friday 8/18/17, talked o Jerry she told me that someone was oing to call me but not until Monday. I called the same phone number and left a message to return my call. On Monday 8/21/17 I called the same number, left message to return my call.  8/22/17 I called the same number again, left message to return my call. a ouple of hours later I received a call from Kelly at 610-494-4814, she took some information from me, and told e that our balance for the cruise was over $1,000.00, I told her that to  my knowledge it was a free cruise, she said it wan't, so I told her that I was going to call her back after talking to Jerry, she provided me with her phone number and asked me for my email address.  I called Jerry and asked her for the free cruise, she said that it was not a free cruise, I esked her for my money back, she told me that they don't refund any money, because the emplyees had to get pay for talking with us (customers).  We feel this is a ripoff because all they do is charge fees for booking, travel service fees, port fees etc. Me and my husband are both seniors  on a fix income, and they took $765.00 with no benefit to us. I call that a RIPOFF. Please somebody HELP  recover our money, thank you for yout time, and help with this matter.
